This is technically made for kids, but we’ve been using it for service dogs in training and it’s been really useful. The different textures do a great job mimicking things like grates, uneven surfaces, or other “weird” flooring dogs can be unsure about. The modular design is a big plus since you can rearrange the sections and keep exposing them to something new. It’s been a simple, effective way to build confidence with unfamiliar textures in a controlled setting. Definitely a solid tool beyond just sensory play.

These are real nice for little ones to get use to the feel of different textures with their bare feet. My daughter also used them for her puppies for the same reason. Really helped. They were a little thin though, wouldn’t leave them with puppies without watching them.

Bought these for my son for Christmas. Not only does he love them, but we get so many comments when people are over. I love them as well. (I hope to buy another set with different textures). They are great quality, and fit together seamlessly. The colors are vibrant. Clean easily, pop them in the sink, wash, and set out to dry. Fun to walk on or separate to hop from one to the other. I don't regret this purchase one bit.

My child loved these I only took a star off because they come apart so easy. I got these because my son likes to step on things due to his sensory issues. I noticed he was willing to place his foot flat while walking on these opposed to tip toeing. He also enjoys taking them apart and feeling them with his hands. They are expensive but worth it if you really think your child may benefit from them.

I use these mats during early puppy development to get them familiar with foreign textures. These are very easy to clean and very durable. They stand up to puppy claws and teeth with zero damage. I especially like the mix of soft and hard textures, and the little grass hill is their favorite. High quality for the cost, and will serve you for many litters
