This yoga asana mat is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. In addition to being eco-friendly, it is comfortable, provides a secure grip when doing downward dog, the surface feels soft and silk-like, and it is beautiful with the sacred geometry. It also appears to be well constructed but is a bit heavier than some mats, so those taking their mat to a yoga studio might keep this in mind. If I were still traveling to India I would consider buying another lighter Jade mat.I bought this mat in large part so I could enjoy Sun Salutations outside, weather permitting, This fantastic exercise/pranayama is even more joyful when the arms are raised to the sky with the body open to the health-enhancing rays of the rising sun.I appreciate Seeka Yoga’s commitment to the environment and hope that yoga companies generally will rapidly expand so as to create a healthier, more energetic, and more peaceful world.

I've been a dedicated yogi for over a decade, and now own 2 of these mats because I reside in two places. I love it enough to have one in each home! Great for hot yoga. I've tried every brand under the sun (Jade, Manduka, etc), and I am forever a cork mat person. Great durability, and with a simple wipe down after class, it has maintained stink-free and without any degrading of material for almost 2 years. That's a great life span for a hot yoga mat!

I'll put in the caveat that I'm not using this as a yoga mat, but as an anti-skid mat for a large dog on a small sailboat cockpit sole.I needed something that didn't smell of neoprene (the rubber smell on this isn't as bad, since is rubber isn't in direct sunlight) and didn't get slippery when wet. The cork topside looks really nice, has great traction, and the thin padding makes standing in the cockpit a lot more comfortable. The mat isn't thick, so I was able to trim it with a utility knife. I don't think its thickness (or really thinness) is a detriment, as the cork and rubber together still work really well and don't feel like its bottoming out when you stand or kneel on it.

If I wrote this review 5 years ago when I first bought this yoga mat it would have been 1 star. It smelled like bike tires for quite a while, maybe a year. But here I am still using it 5 years later. I have used this mat for yoga and stretching just about every single day since I bought it. The cork is just barely fraying at the edges and still adheres strongly to the rubber. Meanwhile the one my wife bought at the same time from a competing brand fell apart years ago.

The product itself is very good. The cork feels real smooth and pleasant. The mat is heavy when rolled up, but I don't carry it around, so that's not an issue for me. Only time will tell if the mat holds up with long term use.There was a mishap with the shipping which caused the mat to get dirty, but the seller worked with me and resolved the issue promptly. I would recommend this seller.

I love my Vegan yoga mat! When I do cardio workouts, the mat does not slip. I love that it does not have a toxic smell and it is vegan. i am also vegan. i would buy again!

Guess I should have suspected that a cork pad would be hard

The mat looks awesome, great design and printing of mandalas. It is comfortable to practice on, though on the heavy side to carry. The two stars is because after only 4 yoga practices the cork is already coming off, the top fraying.
