I am writing this review with absolute horror, trauma, and anger. I purchased a 2L,3L and a 5L Pigeon pressure cooker from Amazon, and they have proven to be life threatening hazards rather than kitchen appliances. A few days ago, while I was cooking in the kitchen with my 2-year-old child playing nearby, my child suddenly pulled me outside the kitchen. Within seconds, the 2L Pigeon cooker exploded like a bomb. The sheer force of the blast shook the house. If my child had not pulled me away, we would have suffered fatal injuries or severe third degree burns. I was alone at home with my kids, and this incident left us completely traumatized. I am now absolutely terrified to even step into my own kitchen. To make matters worse, just a month later, the 5L Pigeon cooker suddenly malfunctioned and released all of its internal steam pressure violently from the lid all at once with zero warning. This brand has zero safety standards or quality control. I am highly doubtful whether Amazon is selling counterfeit items or if Pigeon is manufacturing defective, ticking time bombs. Do not buy Pigeon products! Do not waste your money, efforts, and risk the lives of your family members. This brand is a massive danger to households. I demand an immediate investigation by Stovekraft and Amazon.

Good quality product from Pigeon. The build quality is nice and works well. For first-time users, if you experience any air leakage or water spillage, just take out the rubber gasket, flip it to the other side, and fit it back correctly. The problem should be solved.

Good working, value for money

Gasket totally waste they sold low quality gasket for the pressure cooker

5 ltr cooker handle found broken. Damaged handle received so seller should replace just handle. Look like used handle fit in that perticular product. Other wise good product and also very heavy in weight.

I got the set of 3 pressure cookers (2+3+5 Quart) almost 18 months ago. I had some difficulty initially getting the desired function out of it that caused some initial frustration. However, after a couple of uses it was a breeze. I think it was a 'user' issue i.e. I was used to other models before and took me some time to get adjusted to this brand. Ever since, I have used these cookers regularly at least 3 times a week or more! I can whole-heartedly vouch for this product.. I would give it a 4.5 stars if it was possible on this review. And, I would have give it a full 5 stars if it came with at least one spare gasket ring per cooker. Since with frequent use, this is the first thing that wears out faster than anything else. Overall the cookers still look new and shiny as they did when they came out of the package on day-1. Very happy with my purchase of Pigeon pressure cookers!
