Panasonic LUMIX ZS100 Digital Camera is very good. If you are a camera geek you will like all the features. If you are a beginner or have average experience the features on the camera may overwhelm you. If that is the case leave the camera on "P" and shoot away but then this may not be the camera for you. The included manual is very basic and does not explain all the functions. Download the complete user manual from the Panasonic website. The 10X optical zoom is nice and can be increased to 20X once you find it through the maze of menus. I like the ISO range. The electronic viewfinder is small but nice if you still like to take pictures that way. I also like the picture quality and panoramic mode. A good camera once you get used to it.

Just returned from a 2 week trip to Italy and used the camera for the first time during our travels taking ~800 photos. I just viewed all of the photos on my computer and I'm very impressed with the results. This relatively small camera can fit in my pants pocket and takes great pictures, especially in low light conditions without the flash. I wasn't too impressed by the paper manual as it lacked much how to information. So far I have only used the "Intelligent Auto and Panoramic modes" . I'm very happy with my purchase.

I just received the camera and have not yet used it extensively, only made some test pictures. I bought the camera for its 1" sensor and Leica 10 times optical zoom lens and small physical size. The camera has a ton of features. I am not sure I will use any but the basic ones that have served me well over the years. Not rating it 5 stars because the camera lacks a swiveling LCD screen. Also the evf is a bit small and just OK. I wish the lens were brighter at the telephoto end and the f stop higher to perhaps 16. But I realize the trade off is in the modest price and small body. It is also unseemly for Panasonic not to include a charger in the box. The great thing about this camera is that, from a third party, there is available a filter adapter that allows the use of polarizer, nd filters, etc. This is essential for landscape photography. And it works well on this camera. The Focus camera bag is great. It can be carried on my belt. The extra battery and the memory card are appreciated. I wish Focus would include a charger instead of the other items. Overall, it is a good package.=============================I just used the camera to take July 4th fireworks. I set it to the manual mode. f stop at 8. ISO at 150. Focus, manual, at close to infinity. The shuttle speed at Bulb. The camera sits of a tripod. I used the Panasonic iPhone Wi-Fi App to remotely turn the shuttle on and then few seconds later off. It worked well. Noise is acceptable. I am happy with the performance. See a sample attached.

So far, so good! I haven't really tested out this new camera, but the photos I have taken were great. Excellent service from this vendor. It arrived on time.

At first this camera was amazing, awesome picture quality. I noticed some photos were out of focus when I first started taking them but I attributed it to me learning how to use this new camera. Now, after using it regularly for a few months, the autofocus is all but worthless. Only one out of every 10 photos will be in focus. What's the point of having a camera if it takes crap photos? I have had to resort to using manual focus which is not easy to use on this type of camera. I am going to call Panasonic to find out what options they have regarding fixing the problem, but I would shy away from this new model until they have a fix. I have now read reviews where other people are having issues with the autofocus as well.

Good small travel camera. Lens looses sharpness above 100mm. Easy to hit too many buttons at a time.

No problems with shipping. Camera was exactly as order. Packages came with accessories all but one worked as expected. The lens brush had a black substance, that i believe to be graphite on it. This was not a problem for me because i have several lens brushes. I was satisfied with my purchase.
