Q: I have a light pink, 100% polyester winter coat. It is permanently dirty so i wanted to dye it dark blue. Do you think that this will work?

Hello and thank you for your question. I do think this will dye your pink coat to the shade specified and shown on the container, which is a step darker than a medium blue in my opinion. You stated you want it to be "dark blue" and the shade called "Midnight Navy" is definitely darker. You could mix the two colors also. Sounds like a fun project. I hope this all helped. Take a picture of the directions with your cell phone, then blow up the image on your phone until you can read the directions.

No. You want the original Rit Dye in the box. Can be found in most grocery stores and stores like Walmart and Target.
