After a bit of internet research we purchased this to aid a tear duct issue. The optician recommended a heat mask and as we don’t own a microwave (long story) we were looking for other options.You get it out the box, click the tab and the liquid goes a whiteish colour. That’s it. The mask is warm!When it’s cooled you boil some water. Pop the mask in and the process is reset. What! I’m no chemist so the only explanation is witchcraft!It’s a bit of faff resetting it. But I’d argue not much more than heating a normal mask. This has the added bonus of being able to be taken away with you where there is no stove or microwave.The resetting proses is dunking it in oiling water until the liquid turns clear. I find this takes 2 goes and if it’s not all clear the liquid returns to its white ‘activated’ state.All in all. I don’t understand it. But I do know that it is brilliant.

Have purchased other Eye Doctor products, including the microwaveable eye mask, which have all been good. I therefore ordered the click & go mask for upcoming holiday as wouldn’t have microwave available there. Click & Go mask worked fine first time, but when I tried to reset it that’s when I hit a problem. Supposed to reset after one or two immersions in boiling water, but didn’t. Tried multiple times but it stubbornly remained white instead of returning to clear. Tried to do a return and refund but it directed me to contact supplier. Did so by email but received no response, something I see other buyers have complained about. Therefore contacted Amazon Customer Services and spoke with Jeffry A, who resolved it in less than five minutes and authorised a refund. Thanks Jeffry. To finish I would simply repeat the headline, don’t buy this unless you want an unusable rock solid mask for an ornament!

First one I ordered was fine and good for dry eyes. The second was defective but cannot be returned so be aware of this restriction

I usually use a microwaveable eye bag but with no microwave available on holiday, this was a godsend. We go self-catering so have the facility to boil a pan of water to reheat it after use. The heat lasts a good while although it could be hotter. Would definitely recommend.

I have the condition dry eyes. This particular gel mask . Fits much better than any others I have tried , also much more comfortable. Do not need a microwave.
