5’4” 170 lbs what size?

Not enough information on your waistline in order to determine the best fit, now judging by your height I'd say a 28 seam would be about right. I'm 5'7" 170 , but my waist size is 33 or 34 and my seam measure is 30.

what's the inseam for 42w?

I have a 44 waist and the inseam was, I think, 33 or 34 inches, way too long. Anyway, I had to hem it up considerable because my inseam is not that long and I would think the 42 waist would still be considerably long for anyone if the ratio is constant. You may have to hem the pants legs; if you can't hem them or get them hemmed don't buy the pants unless you are about 6+1/2 feet tall, I would assume.

What size would i get with 32 x 34?

You should order a larger size for the 32 waist you should order a 33 waist. The inseam should be a larger size a 34 should order a 35 the trousers were to tight and binding in the legs and back end not good for some one who does a lot of stooping and bending.
