I admit I like the texture and flavor of Miessence (another natural low heavy metal toothpaste) better. This does have a natural flavor, which is nice, but I still like Miessence taste better. However, Essential Oxygen is really nice on the teeth. My teeth looked so pearly and shiny after just one brush, it was really pretty amazing. I can't imagine that the whitening worked after just one brush, but my teeth actually did seem whiter. I imagine it must have just been the pearly shine. Though the texture of the toothpaste isn't super pleasing to me, it is that very texture, I believe, that made my teeth so shiny. I think it's worth it. I can't believe how nice my teeth look after one brush and how silky and clean they feel. I feel like I had to use a bit more toothpaste that with other brands because of the texture, but that's ok. This is the first time I'm using it, so I can't say anything in regards to cavity protection yet, but teeth look awesome!

Been using this toothpaste for several years and very happy with the results of my dental appointments. It was very important to me to find a toothpaste without fluoride, SLS, glycerin or other nasty chemicals. That is rare to find. Taste is pleasant. Overall, a great product.

Has been independently tested for heavy metals and came back clean! This is why I buy it. Most toothpaste including popular brands you think are clean, even ones specifically marketed for kids, have been found with high levels. Just makes me sick thinking I was poisoning my kids while thinking they were safe. Strawberry flavored is one of the biggest offenders.
