Naturenna Natural Henna/Mehandi Powder for Hair Colour & Mehndi Design (Pack of 2, 400 gm each) - 800 gm

I purchased Henna (200gms) and Indigo (100gns) combo.It's a great product. It may not work well for chemically treated hair.My hair looks natural - as if they were never grey. I follow 2-step process to achieve a natural black hair color. There are a few things you need to take care of:1. Do not soak mehendi in iron vessel. It impacts the color imparted by indigo.2. Always add little lemon to henna to get good color. I do not add anything else to heena paste except water and some lemon juice.3. Mehendi needs to be soaked however indigo releases it's color quick. So mix warm water with indigo with a pinch of salt, few mins before applying. I suggest you prepare the indigo mix in batches to get uniform color on your hair. Yes it can be a lot of work - but trust me it's worth it.4. Apply a thick paste of henna as well as indigo to get good color. But before applying, wash your hair. Always apply this paste on clean hair and do not use conditioner or serum.5. Indigo oxides in air. Always keep it in an air-tight container, else it can turn greyish in color at which stage it is not very effective.Steps I follow (2-step process for a natural black hair):1. Soak henna in water and lemon juice over-night in a plastic bowl. Make a thick paste to avoid water running from your hair. Apply thick layer on a clean washed hair (without serum or conditioner). Apply some coconut oil on forehead and ears to avoid colouration on the skin.2. Keep the henna paste for about 2 hours. Wash it water only. Again do no apply shampoo or conditioner or hair serum. Leave it like this for 1-2 days. Heena needs sometime for colour to grow on your hair. You hair might appear orangish or burgundy-ish depending on the hlcolor of hair. Don't worry it's only temporary.3. To apply indigo, take small quantity in a plastic bowl and add warm water with a pinch of salt. Apply within 10 mins of preparing this paste. I suggest you make this in small batches to get uniform color on your hair. Salt helps indigo release the color.4. Keep the indigo for 1-2 hours and wash it with water only - no shampoo, no conditioner, no hair serum.5. Let it sit for 1-2 days again. Apply hair for 2 hours and wash it with mild shampoo.You hair will release color for 1-2 washes and be prepared for a messy bathroom. But for me, it was worth it because I want to not use ammonia based dyes on my hair. Besides henna and indigo are natural products- they I prove hair quality in the long run.For me the henna conditions the hair. I do experience some dryness after indigo paste.P.s. Do you gloves while applying henna and indigo paste. I find it easy to apply with hand, but brush is equally effective.

Bought in March 2021. I got the Naturenna Mehendi powder since I was in the search for a real Sojat mehendi that's not adulterated. This looked promising and it sure does exceed the expectations! I really have no idea of adulteration (if any), but from my experience, it's truly organic and pure. Real good quality. Very happy actually.I applied Mehendi on my hand just to test this out and my god am I stunned! The color payoff is gorgeous! Everybody who saw my hand has been complimenting the color and its darkness...For hair, it worked like a magic. The process of mehendi on hair will give u rough-looking but soft-feeling, voluminous hair the first night, but by the next night, the hair turns into silk! Plus it was so damn shiny! Loved it.So, hands down, a complete fan of this product! Totally value for money. I hope the purity doesn't deteriorate in the future.

Henna powder is simple guys. No scientific knowledge required. All you got to do is dry henna leaves and powder it. Anyone who has grown henna plant will know the smell, the coloring quality and feel of henna.You people, just to make money add additives. As if we aren't already suffering due to chemical hair dye. Atleast they sell it as chemical dyes, unlike you who sell it in the guise of natural products.I am fed up! I am just going to get myself few henna plants.Now I have to slather my hand with oil because my hands have become so dry after washing off henna from my hair. Surprisingly, no color on my hand. What a joke!!!

Previously I ordered small pack of this mehndi,which was very good, then I ordered 900 gms pack, firstly weight is not 900 GM but that's not main issue for me atleast it should have done it's work but it's garbage, it's price is way more higher as compared to other Heena available in the market,I apply Heena on my hairs for covering Grey's but this packet what I received is surely not mehndi something else of green colour because there is no colour at all means zero even say negative stain of Heena , I applied it with my hand but this is first time that my hands are completely clean and not even lighter orange or any sign of mehndi it's having.I have complete two packets at such a high price kept with me this was my first use from 900 gms packet and applying Heena, keeping it involves time and for what , for no use, feeling disgusting

The henna is a mix of other herbs (one of the best I have used so far) it gave a rich orange color after 3h making my head look orange as my hair is 50% greys. Applied the indigo after mixing in little water (with a pinch of salt) after washing off the henna with water and left it for almost 2h. Washed off with only water. The orange color got darker to a brownish shade, and I guess it will get darker after 48h once the dyes oxidize. Although I have got almost black hair earlier after the indigo this was a little lighter shade. But I guess just have to optimize. The whole process will take a minimum 5h depending on how long you want to leave the henna on. Anyways my hair feels great! This is the best quality henna I have purchased online so far.
