I've been pleasantly surprised by this product. I think it might be the first one I've tried that actually seems to make a difference. I had to get used to dispensing only the tiniest amount as it goes a long way, but that was the most difficulty I've had with it. Before, I was trying Hyaluronic Acid Serum underneath my eyes. Now, I use that on the rest of my face and use this on my eyelids (upper and lower). I have tended to be a little allergic to many things I use around my eyes, so I was extremely careful in the beginning, but it seems to be completely benign, at least as far as my particular biochemical makeup goes. I have no trouble with it whatsoever, even in the nighttime when I'm sure I rub my eyes occasionally without being aware of it.A little interesting side note. I dispense a dot about the size of a dried split pea on the palm of one hand and apply it with a fingertip of the other hand. When I'm done, I swipe up the very last bits and put that on the space between my eyebrows. I have two distinct lines there and it even seems to be softening the effect of those indentions. I love the stuff, would recommend it, and will definitely buy it again.

My eye puffiness went down about half in two weeks

So I got this eye gel because I'm still looking for a product to replace my old favorite now-discontinued eye gel. I don't get a lot of sleep and sometimes feel and look like a dumpster fire recovering from a two day bender. This gel doesn't work miracles (so far) but it's nice.First, the plastic wrap around it was stupid hard for me to remove. It has a perforated strip going vertically all the way down the side, but somehow either I can't work perforated plastic or it just didn't work well. It took an embarrassingly long time to get this stuff open. I had to stab it with scissors a few times and it kept peeling off in little bits. While the inconvenience is annoying, I'd put up with it for a decent product.The gel didn't have a very noticeable scent to it, which is a plus for me. My sinuses are going crazy and I haven't been able to breath/smell much this week though, so I'd take that with a grain of salt.The gel itself seems to me like a more watery gel versus a sticky gel. I do like how there isn't any residue and my skin doesn't have that weird dried gel feel to it.When applied, the gel is cool, but not very cool (like some cucumber eye gels I've used) or particularly refreshing. However, I've been applying it twice a day and my skin looks refreshed, so whatever. The crows feet are more perpetually tired people wrinkles versus old people wrinkles (I'm 30). I'm not sure if it would work differently on old people wrinkles.I'm not entirely sure how far/long a bottle of this gel would last. The container is clear but I think makes it look like there is more product than there really is (who knows what 0.5oz of goo really looks like, anyway?) I think it could last longer than you'd expect though, because it spreads so thinly that you don't need hardly any at all for an application. Mine will probably last less than most people's though since I spent almost a week covering my face with it instead of just my under eye area because I always splurted out too much goo on my finger. It didn't look like a lot, but it was. So, tip: Just use a teeny bit unless you're planning on coating your face in the stuff.Also, the product name (as of right now) calls it "eye gel cream". I'm not sure how it could be a cream (which I associate with lotion or, you know, a thicker non-translucent stuff that comes in a tube that is usually used as a medication or remedy). It's a gel. Not a cream.Would I buy it again? Eh, maybe. We'll see how satisfied I am in the end after I go through the entire bottle. After 2 weeks though I don't really have any complaints, so 4 stars.I received this product at a reduced cost for a fair and unbiased review.

I purchased Revitalizing Eye Gel sold by La Riore Rosa specifically for my sister who is in her mid 50’s. The reason I purchased this product for her is because of the bags under her eyes, dark circles around her eyes, and for her crow’s feet.
