Here is a series you won’t be able to put down until you’ve read it all! Superb story telling and characters you fall in love with make author David Eddings a master at his craft.

The whole story or set for a good price A++++

One of my favorite series that I regularly re-read. The characters are funny, witty, and there’s character growth. A very unique “magic” system. A large world with exploration in all areas. And of course, the usual prophecy of good vs. evil and saving mankind. However, due to a nasty stain in Eddings’ past saw all of the original print versions, Kindle editions, and the original Cameron Beierle audiobooks pulled so his estate could not profit. Some items have been re-released and profits are donated to charity.

I read these books years ago and truly loved them along with the Belgariad. I only wish they would be put into Kindle format as I'd love to read them again, but my eyesight has deteriorated so that I cannot read printed books anymore. If these were on Kindle, I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Great read, but why the AF is this not available on Kindle? I have the (old, yellowing, dusty) paperbacks, and I would rebuy the series for the Kindle in a heartbeat. But no, someone has to screw things up. Can we not fix this? The paper edition is 5 stars, zero stars for no Kindle edition, I'll average to 2.5 stars and round to even.

Ein klassiker der Fantasyliteratur und eines meiner Lieblingswerke. Aus heutiger Sicht vermutlich politisch inkorrekt, da die einzelnen "Menschenrassen" wirklich "Rassen" sind, wie damals in Fantasy üblich. Dennoch eine schöne Geschichte.

Brings back memories when reading through the collection. When I was young, I could only borrow from the library. Now I could own a classic.

Eine ganz nette Buchreihe mit klarem Fokus auf Abenteuer. Die Handlung plätschert stellenweise etwas vor sich hin und es handelt sich nicht um klassische Fantasy mit großen Schlachten oder epischen Momenten. Die Bücher sind hochwertig gebunden und insgesamt angenehm zu lesen. Nicht übermäßig spannend, aber auch keineswegs schlecht – eine solide Reihe für zwischendurch.
