Design HW 660 Turbo 2.7L Hot Water Dispenser for Home

Very pleased with the Caso HW660 Hot Water dispenser.We've had Breville One Cup dispensers previously and prier to this Caso, another type that kept the water warm - but it was never hot and that finally disintegrated into peices!Bought the Caso in may 2024 and I must say I was very pleased with it.The unit looks really nice, is solidly built and also takes standard water filters, so you have filtered water - and considering the crap int he water pipes these days who wouldn't want water filter functionality? Excellent thinking here.The unit can dispense cold water up to boiling 100c degrees in incremental temperatures you can set very quickly.You can also dispense the quantity you require from a large mug to a small teacup and this works perfectly.You can also change the water hardness for your area to remind you of the recommended cleaning times and to do this you just need a solution of vinegar - nothing fancy.We use ours all day, every day and it has worked flawlessly. The display and touch controls are both easy to read and very easy to use.Lately, the logo on the front and the water level markings on the rear started to rub off, so discussed this with Caso customer services who were very helpful. I suspect the front logo wearing may of been as a result of the residual steam after use, which in effect softens the 'paint' of the logo, so if you then wipe with a cloth you likely may be rubbing it away. My advice is to wait for 5 minutes or so after using before wiping the unit to prevent this and do not rub the markings on the water tank or the logo.We had ours replaced by Caso within a week of sending it back and found their customer services team very friendly and provided excellent customer care. We are very happy with it and would recommend this as probably the best designed and practical water dispenser we have ever had.

Love this hot water dispenser, I have arthritis in my hands and can not lift a kettle, it's sleek and stylish, followed the instructions which was easy to follow and set up, nice digital display you can choose your temperature depending on what your drinking your ml for cup sizes the display tells you when your water is low and when it needs descaling also great for baby formula it's so much more than just a hot water dispenser it looks good it feels strong I'm sure if you look after it as per instructions it will hopefully last a long time it's so much easier to fill one cup not only that you are only boiling what you need so should save on electricity too. I'm very happy with this slim machine it doesn't take up to much room it also has an auto lock so little fingers can't press or burn themselves it's quick and no limescale in your cup an enjoyable cuppa thank you Caso for this great hot water dispenser

Very happy with this to the point it’s almost perfect.Yes it has varying temperature control so you can go from warming a babies bottle to a pot of tea.Yes it has multiple capacities, including a continuous one for when you need more than 400ml.Quality is meh, it is what it is. It’s almost entirely plastic, and it feels it. Also for some reason the one I have wobbles on the counter. Dosent sit flush, a bit annoying but it dosent get in the way.Not sure how efficient it is, given the boil in seconds aspect I’m guessing it uses more electric. However you’re only boiling the amount you set, so over all it should save a bit of money.I got this on sale, so I think it was good value for money. I was originally looking at a new kettle that was £70 and this at £99 was only a bit more expensive. I think it’s a good purchase.Another good thing is the water filter that is rated for 150l, rather than 30days. Stops you throwing a perfectly good filter out just because an arbitrary time has passed.Now let’s talk the negatives.Firstly, for me this was a big one. The hot water nozzle is to close to the body of the machine. So jugs or even trap pots feel wrong. While using it with a tea pot I did notice some water not quite making it in.This was with a 2 person team pot. Anything over that won’t fit.Finally we have the volume. The continuous pour is 0000 which is a little weird since it’s actually the first option. I’d have preferred it at the end with some other label for clarity.That said, those 2 down sides don’t stop this being a very nice bit of kit!PS: don’t forget to order some extra filters

Fab kettle. Faulty again though. Terrible customer service from CASO. They will take my kettle away but leave me without a kettle for 2 weeks. And they don’t pick up their phone!!! Very unhappy customer.

We have used hot water dispensers for quite a number of years and this will be our third. The first was a two cup at once, which was brilliant and lasted a good number of years before a silly little plastic part inside snapped, could no longer get the two cup in this Country and so went for a much cheaper and more basic Von Chef. Again it was a silly little plastic clasp that that caused it to fail after about 7 years. So purchased this Casa. I have to say it is extremely well packaged. It looks are sleek and stylish and although deeper than the Von Chef it is slimmer but holds more water. The pouring is excellent continuous stream of water, no spitting or spluttering. The negatives are, it doesn't use all the water in the tank before it stops so whilst it holds 2.7 litres of water effectively you only can use 2 litres before you have to fill it up. The measuring out of water seems a little inconsistent. If you have it on continuous flow be aware that a further 50ml will flow out before it stops. The measure increments are 50ml which sounds reasonable but we have a cup that takes 280ml. And finally you have to remove the lid to fill the container, the Von Chef had a hinged lid. These are only niggles but it does have a descale light which I missed from my first machine to the Von Chef. The positives are its stylish, slimline, its excellent pouring, descaling light and it locks, albeit quite quickly after it finishes pouring so you have to be ready with the second cup, no getting side tracked. I have given it 5 stars because it deserves it, I hope it still gets 5 stars in 7 years time by which time the cost will be a distant memory.

Be cautious - the machine is excellent when it works. It's a great machine for dispensing water in 10-degree increments continuously. There is some adjustment to do before use, and it tells you when it needs cleaning - simple enough. I have bought 3 of these and have been very happy with them. Perhaps conveniently, after 3 years of use, it started to develop a fault and spurt water everywhere, making odd noises and dripping. I cleaned the nozzle, which sits in a plastic caddy, and flushed out any air bubbles as directed by Caso. However, no luck. I followed the instructions to the letter, and both Amazon and Caso explained that, as it's outside the 2-year warranty, they were unable to provide a replacement. I expect an appliance of this nature to last more than 3 years. This is not good customer service - hence why it's got 3 stars - when it works, it would have 5.
