Great torque, long battery life.
Great tool. Lots of touque. Batteries last a long time. Best cordless I've ever had. I haven't found a use for the one touch option. Probably wasn't worth the extra money. But it is a great drill and driver.

The LED mounted above the trigger would be more useful if it were mounted on the battery to better illuminate the point of work but it is still pretty useful in dark areas. I just pull the trigger to activate the LED to see what I am looking at then re-position to drill or drive.I like this drill but the LED light stopped working when the battery was down to two bars. I assumed this was normal to let you know the battery is low and to conserve battery power. However when I changed the battery to a freshly charged one I found the LED still does not work. I checked settings in ONE-KEY app. and reset settings to factory default but nothing I have tried will get the LED to work. One star so far because I have only used this tool enough to almost discharge one fully charged battery before the LED stopped. What's next?I couldn't find anyone else on the internet with the same problem so this could be a fluke.I started a return and had to pay $28.00 for shipping via USPS. Asavings credited my account. I have purchased this item again but from a different vender as I am now skeptical whether this Drill was new from the factory (not refurbished or otherwise). I thought it was odd there was no seal on the case, therfore no way to tell if it was opened anywhere along the way.

Not up to par for professional use.
Alright, here we go... I bought this drill as part of the 2796 combo kit and I loved it at first, but I'm starting to have a bit of buyer's remorse after getting to know more about it.There are three big problems I have with the tool right now.ONE: Milwaukee's One-Key App is buggy as all get-out. The most useful part of this tool is also the most problematic. Connection problems, memory problems, configuration problems... It's just painful to use.TWO: The chuck is bad, and this is a deal breaker for me, because it's not just bad but CAN'T BE REPLACED. First, I noticed the chuck had a lot of wobble so I sent it in under warranty. Milwaukee just sent me a new tool, fresh in the box, the rubber still had oil from the factory molds on it. Great!New chuck is just as wobbly as the old chuck, exact same manufacturing defects. They're just bad, no excuses to be made for it.So alright, I like the drill, a bad chuck isn't a dealbreaker for me, I'm a bit more savvy than that. Went and bought a nice Rohm chuck, made in germany, extremely well designed, I'll make my nice drill even better yeah?I can't. MILWAUKEE DIDN'T USE THE INDUSTRY STANDARD 1/2"-20 CONNECTION. You can't change the chuck on this drill, it's a custom size and thread. So I paid $60 for a German-made paperweight, which I am now more satisfied with than the drill even though I haven't put a single bit in it, drilled a single hole, set a single screw.Holy crap.... Really Milwaukee? So my third problem is with Milwaukee's business model. They've gone full corporate scumbag. I used to really love the brand but the issue with the chuck (This is their top of the line model, why would you put unnecessarily proprietary parts on a professional grade tool?) and the invoice that came with my warranty replacement were eye openers.Milwaukee's MSRP for this bare tool is $378.00 on the invoice I received. All parts costs in the tool are derivative of that. If you send this tool in without warranty coverage, or if they deem the damage to the tool not to be covered by the warranty, you will be charged an outrageously inflated price for the parts plus labor for the work. Send the drill in for a bad clutch and you could end up paying twice as much for the repairs as you did for the tool.Hell no. My wallet won't be supporting that kind of skeeviness ever again. A little bit more money would've bought me a Hilti, and that will be my next purchase.
