I used this product for my dogs for years, but changed to another brand and type of fish oil when it was not available for a while.Their coats and skin suffered.I have started using this again- they love it, the size of the capsule is appropriate for dogs in the 15-20 lb. range, and I feel that their coats are getting softer and I believe they are shedding less.All good.

Although the product is advertised as also being for cats. It is not. It is so hard a cat could never ingest the lquid. And trying to punture the capsule and squeeze out the liquid is also not successful. The hardness of the capsule requires a pretty strong pucnture. The amount of liquid that then comes out is very small.Amazon would not refund my money for the purchase since I spoiled one capsule in trying to extract the liquid.

I have seen a difference for the better in my puppies skin since starting NuLife Omega-3 in June 2016. He is a year old rescue we adopted in April 2016. When he came to us it seemed he was scratching and biting himself quite a bit so we quickly asked the Vet what we should use to help. We gave him Benadryl to start but didn't want to use that on a regular basis. The Vet recommended Apoquil and that helped immediately. Since that is a prescription and very expensive I wanted to find something that would be a healthier solution and much more affordable. I am very pleased to say we are at a week now without Apoquil and just using the NuLife Omega 3 twice a day with meals. He is doing very good and hopefully will no longer need the Apoquil.

My dog was having itchy skin and was uncomfortable this spring/early summer. It wasn't fleas. I read online to try fish oil, and the vet also recommended. I'd first tried a product from Doctor Foster and Smith that was a small roll that was stinky of fish, although the write up said "your dog will love them!" (He didn't.)My dog needs to have the NuLife fish oils wrapped in string cheese to eat them. (I tried to use human grade fish oil, but those were too big for him. My dog's a 17lb terrier.) His itchiness really decreased and the vet complimented his coal. I also switched to a hypoallergenic shampoo as part of the change, so the less itch might be due to a combination. I'm waiting to see how his skin fares this winter to give a final thumbs up.

My vet requested I purchase Omega 3 to help with my black and tan miniature Dachshund's dandruff. I am very pleased to report that he likes them plain, so they must be quite tasty as he enjoys being given one and I am not required to hide it in his food or in peanut butter or a pill pocket. I am very hopeful that in a few weeks I will see improvement in his dandruff. They arrived very timely.

I have an animal pill popper and it’s way too big for it. My cat cannot ingest this!!!

I have a pug that I bought these for to help her skin issues. These were too big to give a small dog for sure. I have ended up cutting the gel tabs up and putting them over a small amount of shredded chicken as a way around it. I’m sure these would be fine for larger dogs, just not small or toy breeds.

I LOVE love these omega capsules for dogs! I'm a vet tech and am very picky on which products I use on my pets. I've looked all over for days to find SMALL gel capsules with a decent amount of EPA and DHA and these are wonderful. I'm able to hide the small capsules in peanut butter and all of my small dogs (papillons) get them every night. I give it for mobility, heart health, and skin. Very effective brand IMO and will continue to purchase Nulife products. I can't stand the giant capsules that a lot of them have, with a smaller or similar amount of mg's.
