Large Medium-Firm Wellness Seat Cushion - 17 x 13 x 3 inches

First, this seat cushion is firm, which is what I was looking for. My goal was to firm up my favorite seat on my sofa. While it did not work well for sitting on while on my sofa as it was not comfortable the way it sat on my sofa and my hind end, it does work great as a back rest. I like to sit up straight, so overall, even if I sink in a bit in the sofa, I’m sitting up straight because the firmness and thickness of this seat cushion do the job. It works!

I drive a Smart For Two Pure and have been searching for a seat cushion/wedge to raise the driver's seat because this model doesn't have a height adjustment setting. i am 5' 7" and need a little extra lift...(btw: I love everything else about this car!) After trying numerous 'boosters' without successful results; either to small/large, to hard/soft, don't stay in place, poor/flimsy construction, etc., this is the one that fits/works for my seat perfectly. It is firm - with lots of 'give' and does not flatten-out, maintains shape, firmness and height, stays in place - due to the non-slip coating on the underside. The cut-out tail bone ('coccyx') section; a feature found on more expensive orthopedic products, is a great feature; helping support my lower 59 year old (drummers) back on longer trips. This seat booster has transformed my driving experience, giving me a consistent 3-3 1/2" boost, so I now see/experience everything without straining. Regardless of price, this is the best and most comfortable option i have discovered for adjusting seat height. I can't think of anything to improve on with regards to design or quality; am very satisfied and highly recommend this car seat booster cushion!

The cushion is firm which I like, but it does have a cutout for your sacrum which I don’t like. As an ostomate with a Barbie butt I don’t think that’s a good idea for no support long-term. If not for that I would give this cushion 5 stars. I’m keeping it since I threw out the packaging, but just beware if you buy this. It might aggravate hemorrhoids. Update: I sat on this cushion for a couple of hours yesterday, and it hurt my butt. I had pain where I haven’t had pain since my surgery so I cannot continue to use it.

I like this item so much I've bought it SIX TIMES! Why would one backside need 6 of these? Did any wear out?? No. I don't care if this does get a "C" rating from Fakespot, I think this works great and holds its shape. BUT your DOG will LOVE IT and EAT IT because they like things you sit on often. Keep them away from this pillow seat, and you will only have to buy it once because it solidly keeps is shape and is quite comfortable.

Saved me after a broken tailbone!

I have a slight lumbar disk bulge, persistent hip pain, very tight hip flexors, and tailbone pain that occurs if I sit on regular chairs for too long. I bought this cushion specifically for its tilt (to open up my hip angle and take pressure off of my back and hip flexors) and tailbone cutout. So far, so good! I've definitely been able to sit for longer periods of time with more comfort, and I strongly prefer using this cushion over sitting on regular chairs/seat cushions now. I have not experienced tailbone pain since I bought this. I use it at the dining table, when I'm reading, and on road trips in the car. I'm 130 lbs and so far the cushion has not lost any of its support, but I do wish it was firmer. I suspect that it will begin to deflate over time, and will update this review if that happens in the next year. Overall, a very solid purchase that I would recommend for people seeking relief from tailbone pain and/or light lower back discomfort, as well as people looking to be nicer to their hip flexors. Worth noting, however, is that if you have more severe back pain (like I do) and you're looking to work a 9-5 desk job, this cushion alone won't cut it. It's good for shorter periods of time, but I'll be exploring kneeling chairs and other solutions for work use.

What a great cushion. Well made, and just the right angle. I have severe back pain due to a variety of conditions, including stenosis, arthritis, and scoliosis. In short, sitting on a hard surface or one with the wrong pitch is agonizing. Church pews are designed in a sort of "reverse" slope, pinching your back and hips at a very bad angle. I use this cushion in church to reverse the pitch to one my doctor recommends, as well as elevating my body to a more right-angle. This cushion is fantastic in that situation and others. Highly recommended!

Title says all. This only covers 3/4 of the chair (and unlike some lucky people, my posterior covers the entire chair seat). The wedge makes me feel like I'm going to slide off. But "fortunately" (NOT) it goes flat/gets hard within an hour so I don't have to put up with that unbalanced feeling very long. (SMH, my regular chair seat stays comfortable longer than that!) YMMV. (I have been able to use it for a couple of hours consecutively by placing it in the center of my chair and letting my hip bones hang over the back of the cushion, but it's not an ideal configuration. I'll keep looking for a better solution.) Otherwise it is well made and doesn't slide around on the chair. It had a slight chemical odor when unwrapped but that dissipated in 24 hours. NOTE I just read that this cushion is designed to fit on a car's bucket seat (which explains the wedge and its odd size), so bear that in mind if you are shopping for an office chair cushion.

The large Medium-FIRM Wellness Seat Cushion provided excellent support for my wife's back. Without it I don't know if we could have made it to Edmonton and back

I should have paid more attention to the dimensions as too small for my reclining chair, would probably be good for plane seats

It does not sit well with bucket seats like in Hondas. It slips and slides and can be really annoying that way but in most of the other cars I've driven it's just fine
