Is this water proof? I mean can I take a shower with it on?

Ultra Hold Tape is a excellent choice for bonding your hair system to your skin/head. It will hold up to direct water. Please keep in mind that as days go by the longer you wear tape without changing it out you will get weaker bond. always works best with Ultra Hold liquid adhesive used on your skin and Ultra Hold tape around the perimeter of your wig. Together you get the best hold possible. Clean up is much easier because all the liquid adhesive is on skin and on tape. Not on hair system cap.

How do you remove the tape from a poly system so you can reapply?

To remove any brand hair tape, it is best to use adhesive solvent like "C-22" solvent or "Action" solvent. This works quickly and once done, shampoo hair system to remove any of the residual oils from the hair system.
