JBL Professional is quality.
Using as a replacement, and works great. This is a passive speaker and was my only choice in this application, but would have preferred active instead. If you can utilize an active speaker system, would even be better, as the controls would be on the speaker. Nice and heavy, about 50 lbs.

Bad speaker, but lots of help gettng a replacement.
I purchased one of these and it was defective. There was no bottom end, just mids and highs. I called JBL and the technician instructed me to check the internal wiring for loose connections. None were obvious. So I returned it at no cost and purchased another which was sent promptly by the dealer. Thankfully the replacement works great. I have used it as a main in an acoustic trio and as a monitor in a larger amplified band. It is working fine. What I expected the first time. I received helpful responses from prior Amazon purchasers which aided in deciding to ship it back. I am guessing the defect was crossover related. I did not expect such an issue from JBL. But all is well now. Great customer service all around! But minus one star for all the aggravation.

Very high fidelity room filling output but note that the unit requires at least a 250 watt amp to get the cone moving.

Formidable même pour du HC
J'ai essayé des enceintes sono pour mon installation HC (DTS:X / Atmos, 11 enceintes, Marantz, Rotel ...), et ces "petites" enceintes JRX212 remplacent parfaitement mes colonnes JBL ES90 dans ce domaine ... ! Certes elles descendent nettement moins dans les basses que mes colonnes (incroyables les ES90 pour ça), mais j'ai 2 caissons de basse DIY en JBL qui font parfaitement l'affaire. Résultat, j'ai une image sonore bien plus large, des sons ciselés, précis, et une "pêche" plus proche d'une salle de ciné. Bonus : pour la musique c'est pareil, un net gain. Ce qu'auparavant j'adorais écouter en DTS, maintenant j'écoute en stéréo ! Franchement pour le prix il n'y a pas à hésiter, incroyable ?? Pourquoi passer sur des enceintes de gamme cinéma qui coûtent 10x le prix ? J'utilise 3 de ces enceintes pour les front (L/C/R), dans un séjour de ± 40 m2. Seul inconvénient, est d'avoir un bon caisson de basse (voir 2), primordial.

Still sounds better than a plastic cab though
using this as a stage monitor for vocals and tracks. Very well made but a bit on the heavy side but that's what you get when MDF is used. Still sounds better than a plastic cab though.
