The products worked great right out of the box. The brightness button on the bottom of the solar panel makes it easy to change the level of brightness or turn them off. By making the mounting stake a separate item to mount makes it a very simple installation. I have only used the lights for about 2 weeks but they have worked great. The large solar panel allows the lights to come on at dusk and lasting all night (set on the lower intensity) and turning off at dawn - approx. 9 hours. The only concern I had was that the solar panel and the light were on the same plane, but they are both independently adjustable so I was able to adjust the solar panel position to adequately recharge the batteries.

So far so good! I purchased these lights to light the flag pole in the front yard. They proved decent light on my 25' flagpole. I contemplated using some brackets to move them up the pole but I think they do a great job where they are on the ground. The lights seem pretty durable and with a full day of sun stay on all night. I am always worried about how well solar lights will hold up but so far these have done great though some pretty major thunderstorms. They haven't fogged up or had any hiccups at all. To give an idea of light output, they are VERY bright looking directly at them. If you were to use these to put a spotlight on the house you wouldn't want them by any bedroom windows. I think they would sufficiently "spot light" anything out to about 15-20 feet. I am very pleased with these lights. I would recommend these lights for an affordable solar spot light. Great lights. Easy to install. Warm lighting that looks great in the back yard. Unfortunately have had some bad luck (not sure if it’s the product or the wildlife) - the first set, one broke after 6 months of use. Second summer ordered a second set. Now one of those doesn’t work. Listing says two year warranty but unable to figure out how to contact them. Reluctant to order a third set. 5 stars for customer service. After reaching them, they immediately sent out a new set that is working beautifully!

I give very good early marks for this product, which is very suitable for my purposes. The solar panel is very large, so it should do a very good job picking up plenty of solar gain to charge the batteries. The LEDs are also quite large, which translates to a nice floodlight effect. There is a setting for low and medium intensity, which is more than enough for something that will remain lit all night. (Some may think it should be brighter, but you really don't want that in this kind of product, or the battery won't be able to last very long. It should not be confused with something that is very bright and designed to deter trespassers.) The LEDs emit a warm light, which is a nice change from some other products which have a cold light. The detection of dusk and dawn works well. I currently have these on my upper deck, which has no other lights. They are mounted on the house and pointing down, to mimic fixed outdoor lights. I use the low setting by default, which has a nice decorative appearance, but if I was on the deck and wanted more light to entertain, I can just reach up and switch to the higher setting. I have only one minor complaint, which is that the solar panel and light can only be adjusted in a single direction on the same plane, which can, depending on one's circumstances, make it hard to point the LEDs where you want light and also maximize the amount of sunlight you will get on the solar panel. If it had ball-type joints that allowed multiple planes of adjustment, it would be perfect. I have only used the product for a few weeks, so can't yet tell how well it will hold up over time. I will update the review if I have more to say after the product has been outside and weathered a variety of weather conditions for a number of months. So far, though, so good! Update in June 2025: The lights have been outside and activating (on low) in the dark exactly as expected for over four years!

These solar floodlights are simply amazing! They have 2 settings, bright and SUPER bright and stay on at least 8 hours! The beam of light is wide, the LED'S are crisp and bright. Shortly after receiving these our power went out after a severe storm, I went outside and grabbed these hoping to get a little light into the house- as you can see from the picture, one light pointed at the ceiling lit up our entire breakfast room and kitchen and stayed lit for 9 hours that night, my kids took one each to their rooms for light as well. We are now leaving these on our back porch to charge in the sun and my kids use these as flashlights when going out to our barn at night. They are brighter than any normal flashlight. These are not only great spotlights, they are great in a power outage! These are not soft white, they are bright, crisp white. I have had them for 2 months and no issues so far. 5 Stars+

Bright, loved these lights but the batteries only lasted 16 months and I have no idea if I can replace the batteries. They are very bright and have worked since I put them into use april of 2022. Now 1 by 1 they are not working. I assume it is the batteries. When I first got them the light lasted all night which I was very impressed with. I was hoping to get several seasons out of them. My yard does not have a tree in it so solar charging is not the issue. I wish the batteries lasted longer because it's a shame to have to replace the whole light.

I've had these lights in for about a week, and they work quite well. On the low setting, the LED's are still quite bright, and in these summer months, they are staying lit all night ( 10-11 hours). Probably wont stay on all night in winter, but we'll see. The switch on the underside of the PV panel need to be pushed firmly, you'll hear it click. The first few times I didn't push hard enough and they didn't come on. Once you've set the light level, it stays in memory. I like that they have both ground stakes as well as screw-on mounting systems. I have one on the deck aimed at the koi pond, and the other illuminating a small statue. They do need to be installed someplace that gets decent sunlight, so that's something to consider. It would be nice if the solar panel could rotate into more positions, to get maximum sunlight. However, if you want to light something discreetly, the panel may not be optimally positioned. I would buy these again if I find they hold up over time. I'm happy how they work out of the box.

I've had my Necteck Solar Lights for almost a year. They are very well made, and the sturdy plastic stake makes it easy to place them in the lawn wherever they are needed. (The lights themselves can be removed from the lawn stakes if desired, and have four holes in the light base if one wants to mount them permanently on a fence post, side of the house, or whatever.) The solar batteries seem very capable: ours catch the full (southern USA) morning sun and then fall into the shade of the house around 2:00 or so. Even though they aren't exposed to the sun the entire day, they last all night long and are still going strong at full power when the sun comes up the next morning and shuts them off. The angle of the solar panels and lights can be easily adjusted by a knurled knob. I've set the tension on mine so they stay in place, but can be readjusted as necessary without having to mess with the knob (this is important to me, since I take them up each time I mow the lawn, and reset them after I'm done). I use the two I bought to illuminate an aluminum street number plaque mounted on the bricks by the front door of the house: they make it really stand out so visitors or emergency responders can readily see it at night. In addition, the lights also provide an extra level of security, since anyone approaching the door will be illuminated. They would certainly be useful for other applications as well (e.g., illuminating bushes in a flower bed or at the corners of one's house, without having to go to the trouble to install permanent 115v outdoor lighting). So far I have been totally satisfied with the Nekteck lights, and recommend them to anyone looking for affordable outdoor solar lighting.

very poor quality. 6 lamps burn just 1,5 hours, two totally broken.
