I bought these to do it myself. Watched a video on YouTube and followed the instructions. Very easy and the dogs hardly flinched. I would suggest not removing the (for lack of a better word) safety mechanism from the plunger part of the needle until the needle is in the dogs skin. It didn't happen to me, but I could see accidentally losing the chip. Also strongly recommend the 100% free chip registries found on Google. Great product.

These syringes are locked when they first come out of the package so you dont get stabbed.Make sure you unlock them before sticking your animals, otherwise you will have to do it twice.

Took my dogs to the vet and had them all scanned. It worked. I did it myself. It was just like giving them a injection. Very easy to do.. A must buy.

I've never microchipped a pet before today. I gave the extras to family and friends to save us all money. It arrived before promised every one of these worked. I had them placed by the vet today as I did not have the scanner to make sure they worked. He was impressed and asked where I bought them. Amazon of course!!They are smaller microchips however the needle is the same as a normal microchip.If you are buying these to microchip your pet, the vet said to make sure they are scanned before injecting because it's protocol, Really really great. Works so well for my dogs! Didn't hurt them at all. No blood, or hematoma, nothing! Scanned perfectly Cannot recommend enough! Great price, fast shipping and we checked with our vet and they work well, would be very easy to put on a cat! it is worth it to buy.
