Convenient to use
I have a few cables (video, Ethernet, etc.) draped around my house and used these cord clips to help hold them up. In the past, I used the white ones, but I was excited to see a clear version so it would look neater on my non-white walls. Here are some things I think are most important: * SIZE: These can comfortably hold a Cat 5e Ethernet cable (the reason I originally got them), plus maybe another very small cable if you need to (3.5mm audio? never tried). It can also hold one Monoprice Cat 6 Ethernet cable but with no room to spare. I couldn't quite fit in my coax/RG6 cable in, but that will depend on the wire gauge. A thick DVI cable was also too big for these, but it does fit in the medium size.* STICKINESS: The white strips do stick more strongly than the clear ones. I've only noticed this when trying to run cables around corners, which I've solved by loosening up my turn radius a bit--something I probably should be doing for the sake of the cable, anyway. I don't think this will really matter for cord clips because I can't imagine someone using them for anything heavy enough to matter in the first place. In either case, you'll probably also want to follow their preparation instructions, including cleaning the area with alcohol first and allowing it to try, as well as having some "rest" time after installation before use to allow the adhesive to work better.* REMOVAL: I've changed my mind about where I want my cables and how I want them organized a few times. I've always had the clear strips remove without damage as long as I follow the instructions. Crucially, you need to pull the non-adhesived tab on the strip straight down--very far down. As it stretches, the adhesive holding the strip to both the hook and the wall will loosen (so hold the hook with your other hand to avoid projectile hook injuries). You *cannot* just pull the strip off the wall normally. That's the only time when I've damaged my paint, and it's only when I accidentally pulled the hook and strip off the wall during a cable-routing accident, and that was long enough ago that I can't even remember if it was a white or clear strip (I suspect the white ones are more likely to cause damage in this situation).* PRICE: These are hard for me to find locally, but on similar Command products, Amazon always seems to have the best price. Amazon also has a good price on the clear refill strips, which I can't even find locally. The hooks themselves are reusable. The pack comes with a couple extra strips, but since I've done a lot of rearranging, I've had to buy more.* OTHER: With both these and the white hooks, I've had the tab that the "arm" of the hook is supposed to latch into break off. This prevents the hook from working as intended, but with larger cables the "arm" still holds the cable in enough that I can barely even notice. I've had this happen on a few hooks (total--I've gone through several packs of these) and can probably blame at least a couple of those on me pulling too hard trying to put too much in the hook.In general, I think these clips work well and are priced reasonably. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to organize cords or cables without doing anything permanent or wall-damaging. Just be sure to follow the removal instructions if the non-damaging part of this product is important to you (it is to me--it's why I bought them).

Clips made with flimsy plastic materials, and poor adhesive.
I got a few sets of these to tame some rogue - humongously long - ethernet cables we have stretched through the house, as well as my bedside laptop cable as well as my phone and tablet charger cords. At the same time I purchased these two guys as well: Command Cord Bundlers, White, 6-PACK and ColorYourLife 20 PCS Reusable Fastening Velcro Cable Ties with Microfiber Cloth in Retail Packaging - 7" (Royal Blue + Aqua Blue) After unwrapping and installing them all, I have to say that I like these Medium Cord Clips the least, although the cord bundler and velcro ties can't really replace them with the bundlers being rather larger than needed for one measly ethernet cable and the velcro ties not being themselves made to attach the cords to a wall. The Med Cord Clips "work" - and better than the most helpful reviewer on here has cited - but I don't trust them to last and here is why:The material is questionable in terms of durability and the idea for how the clip works is also questionable, particularly when you consider the material. The "clips" are actually thin, curved arms of plastic that you push to catch on a tiny plastic latch. Keywords are "thin", "plastic" and "tiny". There are no hinges or engineered mechanisms with springs, parts, bits, etc. To clip the "clip" you push/bend the thin tiny teeny plastic arm up and over the thin tiny teeny plastic latch. Maybe there is more to this plastic than meets the eye, but it doesn't feel really rubbery. or special in any way. It just feels like firm, stiff plastic that could snap, so my feeling is that these "clips" will be easily damaged by opening and closing multiple times, getting brittle (as plastic does with time, heat, dry, etc.) accidentally pushing too hard on the tiny arm, or any other of a number of reasons. For example, if you have to put these on baseboards to run cables along the floor or because you can't get yours to stick to your walls - how do you not snap them when vacuuming?Although the adhesive on the stickers is vastly better than the top reviewer here makes it out to be (maybe there was an ingredient change?), these still don't have the power of the larger strips because they lack surface area and the smooshy foam thickness that grips at crevices in wall texture. The good? The "clips" are small and clear, so they blend into the background quite well and should remain pretty unobtrusive. The most visible thing you will have is obviously going to be the cabling itself, not the cord clip. The adhesive is much better than it was before, or not knowing what others have actually done when installing, if you follow the directions it seems they work well. I wiped down the installation sites with rubbing alcohol, let dry, held for 30 sec, etc. My strips - save one that was in an awkward to reach area - all stayed stuck despite tugging on the cords that run through them quite a bit so far. Please see my attached photos showing where our SUPER DUPER textured walls have the strips adhering just fine! (UPDATE 02/01/2016: Amazon has been really hit or miss with photos, and it's a 50/50 shot that your photos will post. I have tried reposting the photos, but another review where they inexplicably were a no-show didn't respond to a repost of the photos, so we shall have to see. Sorry for the inconvenience of it all, but there seems to be little reviewers can do about the photo situation from our side of the board. :-/ )Bottom line? Time will have to tell on this. I have them stuck on a few kinds of surfaces - baseboards, walls and my desktop. If they break or the adhesive fails, I will come back and update the review. Likewise, if the performance surprises me, I will update the review and change the rating.Hope this review and the images are helpful. Please ask questions if you have any and best of luck!UPDATE 03/13/2016: My concerns were valid and these clips are flimsy. I've broken two - one by hand trying to unclip my laptop's powercable from my desktop, and the other got kicked where it sat on the baseboard. In both cases the little plastic arm popped off with a quick and easy snap. I've also had two hooks entirely pop off the walls at the slightest tugging on a cable. Removing two stars and recommending others try these Command Cord Bundlers, White, 6-PACK , which are flexible, hold more cords if needed and adhere with the staying power I've come to expect from Command products.

They work, but I prefer the normal clips that you nail to the wall
Overall, these seem to work fairly well. My current landlord is quite picky about holes in the wall, so I needed to look for a solution other than the typical ethernet cable hooks which nail to the wall. And given that restriction, I think that these have worked reasonably well. Out of the few dozen I've put up, one didn't stick properly and came off (taking paint with it) when I went to hook the cable to it, but other than that, they've stuck well without damaging the wall. And since I needed to move the cable at one point, I've also taken a few off the wall, and I had no problems in doing so; no paint came off, and you can't tell that anything was stuck to the wall before. So, if you can't put holes in your wall, these seem to work well. However, given that you have to stick each hook to the wall and wait an hour before you can use it, it's _way_ more of a pain to use these hooks than the normal ones that use nails. Normally, you can hang the cable as you go and adjust as you go along, but with these hooks, you have to plan it all out and guess correctly how the cable will hang. Obviously, you can add some hooks later, and you can remove hooks to put them somewhere else if you need to adjust the cable, but overall, they're just way more of a pain. They _do_ avoid needing to put holes in the wall, but IMHO, that's their only advantage. So, if you can use the more standard hooks that you nail to the wall, I'd stick to the those over using these. But if you can't put holes in the wall for whatever reason, then these are the best alternative that I'm aware of.

Doesn't want to stick well, but got the job done
These were the right size to hold the cable that powers our baby monitor camera. We needed to tidy up the cables and route them behind the solid back of the baby crib so they couldn't grab the wires. This did the job, but they didn't stick super well to all surfaces. A few popped off and I needed to reattach. After re-attaching and pressing hard, they seem to be okay on the wall (this is an outside wall and it is a bit cold this time of year). However, the one that is on the window trim (glossy paint) has popped off a few times and I've tried using another adhesion pad and leaving it and I get the same results. For the price, and knowing it is 3M, I expected better results. If I had to order something to fix this later, I would definitely try something else first. This is really unusual for 3M command products, I'd never had an issue with the standard hook strips (those are different thicker adhesion pads though).

USB cord is nice and clean along the wall and baseboard.
I used this product to secure a standard 10.4 foot USB cord linking a security camera that was mounted to the ceiling to a wall electrical outlet. Appearance of the cord is definitely neater but wish the cord was held by the clips more snug. Probably would have helped if I bought two packs and spaced the clips closer but in the end happy with the purchase. I did not have to hammer in any clip holders to the wall avoiding any holes that I would have to patch up later when I decide to move and sell the house. I do not know however if it strips the paint when it's time to remove the clips.

Perfect for the job
I bought these to tidy up an ethernet cable that was trailing from the ceiling down to the desk, and although I had some concerns from other reviews I'm happy to say they have done the job perfectly. They are very easy to use, the most taxing part of the set up was counting to 30 for each adhesive strip, and although they've only been up for a week they show no signs of coming off the wall. I've used Command products in the past, and never had any issues with the strips loosening or damaging the walls, so I'm glad that this product seems to live up to the expected standard. The plastic clip for the cable was the perfect size, and although at first I was a little worried I would end up snapping them while clipping/unclipping, they didn't actually cause any issues. I expect over time the plastic may become more brittle, but to be honest with 8 clips in the pack for a very reasonable price, you really can't fault the product if one or two are lost over the years.

Pricey but worth it
I bought a pile of these to do cable management on my desk.Previously, I had made the mistake of buying no-name clips, and the adhesives were either too weak (fell off) or too strong (hard to remove and left a mess). The things I love about these clips:1 - Clear2 - Strong adhesive3 - Removable4 - The snaps to lock the wire loops work greatThe thing I don't love about these clips - they're on the pricey side.

Really useful and no sticky mess
I love the command stuff, they're a bit more expensive than cheap stick on hooks, but its worth to not spend hours trying to clean off sticky residue. I use these particular ones to route my dash cam cable in my car. They're perfect for this as they're small and discreet plus easy to remove again. I would advise you make sure and 'de-grease' the surface you're applying them to - the previous owner of my car had cleaned the interior with a dash shine type product which meant when i first tried to attach these they wouldn't stick. A bit of washing up liquid sorted that out though. I've also used the larger sticky pads before to attack sat navs etc to my dash as well, which are obviously heavier than just some cable, and the pads have performed well.
