Okay, so I’m a NEAT freak who enjoys cleaning. I’ve got the Dyson vacuum, got a steamer for my cork floors and the TikTok viral spinning mop thing w/ separate clean and dirty water compartment. But nothing has been able to get the stains off my rugs!I own 3 pets, 2 dogs and a cat. Dogs are doodles, no shedding, cat sheds a bit. But over the years my older pup has mistaken the rug as a pee pad and we’ve done our best to upkeep and maintain stains and smell.Lo and behold, parents are out of town for 3 weeks and I find myself with 9 animals. 4 dogs and 5 cats. It’s a zoo. Yes, I know. Thank god I don’t have kids, to add to this mix.A plumber came over and complimented how my house didn’t stink. Thanks to my amazing air purifier from Coway. I accidentally unplugged it cleaning, and forgot to plug it back in. Weather is getting hotter.. so I leave to gym and come home, BAM!Got hit with the strongest dog smell, urine, cat litter and animal house smell. I gagged. From the runner to my guest room, it all smelled. I couldn’t take it anymore.Did my research and Hoover came in #1. Price isn’t bad at all, considering I got quoted $1000 to have a professional clean my 7 rugs. Ordered it last night in bed and got it at my door TODAY before 3p.Started cleaning rug 1, my gawd! It’s so gross but so so so satisfying to see the amount of gunk that this thing sucks out. It’s 10pm, I just finished 5 rugs and my house looks entirely different.There’s a really big rug in my bedroom that’s never been cleaned. The amount of crap this Hoover baby got out was amazing!Cleaning and sucking out dirt and god knows what, 1000000%.Now, it also dries well. Usually carpets are damp for a good 24-48 hours, and it starts to smell… this soaks the entire rug and leaves it maybe 5% dampness from the 80% soak from shampoo function. Fine by me! If you’re gonna do it at home and have cork floors like mine, just do it during the day so it has time to dry with the sun. Shouldn’t take more than a few hours tops.It’s the best thing I’ve ever invested in and just the most satisfying chore, I can’t believe I didn’t invest in this sooner. I already have friends asking to borrow it. It’s on par to a rental you get at Vons, except it’s yours!Sure you have to fill the water a bunch of times and dump the dirty water, so what? Are people that lazy they’re going to take a star away just because they can’t run back and forth a dozen times? Cmon..I haven’t done anything else it can do outside of carpets, I’m exhausted today. But you bet I’m going after my furniture next!Moral of the story is — BUY IT! It’s not just hot girl summer but clean girl summer baby.

Delivery was quick with no damage to the box and product.I carefully assembled the product: A couple issues:1. Product did not dipense fluid. I had to disassemble the handle, re-do it. I very carefully aligned the internal components and put it back together. No big deal. Then it dispensed fine.2. The fresh water tank spring loaded valve in middle bottom leaked significantly. Not good. I turned the tank upside down, used a small probe to depress the spring valve and sprayed some silicon lubricant in the valve, then opened and closed quickly several times by pushing it in and out; thereafter, it stopped leaking. Frankly it was aggravating to have to fool with a simple spring valve-leaks are never fun.I should mention I had a Bissell for 15 years prior which I thought was quite good having nothing else to compare it to.Then I used the Hoover doing a run of steps, 3 other rooms, and a hall runner. I am pleased with the performance. It has impressive suction and left the carpet barely wet but quite clean. It is FAR superior to the Bissell. My carpet looks fanastic. The sound of the motor and suction is akin to a small jet engine but not overly loud. It is definetly quieter than the Bissell.The hand tools dispense fluid well, accurately, and collect the dirty fluid quite well-better than Bissell.The Hoover sips the soap solution and offers great length of use between dumping and fresh water replenishment. Again FAR superior to Bissell. The dirty water tank is also much easier to dump and thoroughly clean than Bissell.

I bought this after getting estimates to get my rugs professional cleaned was too pricey and the thought of renting one from home depot grossed me out by the thought of what other ppl where cleaning and picking it up was a hassle. I then read multiple reviews, searched for days and landed on this machine. I figure it couldn't hurt to try.Well let me tell you WORTH it!1. It's not that heavy or bulky. Easily assembled. Easy to move around and carry. I didn't think its that loud or noisy like some reviews had stated.2. I have high tracked areas and after a few passes with this I was super surprised at what a good job it did.3. The attachments are great for the stairs.4. Easy to rinse, take apart and store away.Thank you to all the reviewers it really helped me to make a decision.Really like this machine

My rugs had not been properly deep cleaned for the 4 years we've lived here. Definite improvement in the carpet nap and most of the stains left here by the previous owners. The scent of the soap might be a little too much for some people but I didn't mind it at all and I'm usually pretty sensitive to perfumes, scents and odors. It appears to be fairly rugged although I'm slightly wary that there are only two, short flat-end screws holding the handle in place. No leaks noted yet but I've only used it once. For someone with decreased strength, it might be a little challenging to maneuver it, but with our carpet nap and the level of dirt in it, it was wiser to move it through each area at a slower pace anyhow. If anything changes I'll try to get back and edit this.

My Hoover pet carpet cleaner from 2008 finally quit this years after being the best thing since sliced bread. I was really not looking forward to trying to replace it as in my opinion it seems like things are made so poorly these days. I found this cleaner and gave it a try.Let me tell you, I’m loving this even more that the one it replaced. The divided solution tank is so awesome and lasts!! The carpet comes out looking new and smell so great!! It was easy to put together and is easy to use!! Both my boyfriend and I have gone on and on about how it’s one of the best purchases we’ve made.We also got lucky finding it when it was an Amazon deal of the day, we feel like we’ve already got out money out of it.
