Great product for your nails. It really works in making them stronger so they don’t break and tear so easily. I’ve used it for years and it hasn’t failed me yet. Rub some on before bed every night.

This is a great product, it really worked on my nails when nothing else ever did. The secret to success is patience. It takes about six months for nails to grow from the quick to the tip, so you will not see the results for a long time. Mark your calendar the day you start, and just don’t think about it again for six months. I did find that even though my nails were still short, after about three months I could see a difference, they had a sheen to them and looked really healthy. My friends noticed the difference. I used the product twice a day. Once at bed time, and once during the day. In six months I had really strong, hard, long nails. It was a unique experience to me to have to file my nails down, not because they were split or cracked, but because they were too long. And filing them was an effort, because they were think and strong. Amazing! It is true that you can use this over nail polish, I can’t understand how that could work, but it does. I don’t wear lots of polish, just two coats. Somehow the polish does not seem to hinder product from working. However, Barielle has a product called Natural Nail Camouflage which, when I tried it, stopped the good effect of the nail cream and my nails began to get soft and break again. I wrote to Barielle about my experience but did not get a response. Actually, although this cream works like a miracle for me, none of their other products did.

I love this cream, but 3 out of the last 4 tubs that I have ordered since late 2025 have been defective (I missed the return window on the last order). I just received the two spoiled tubs shown on the left and right with a normal tub in the middle. The spoiled tubs have bubbles, are thick and grayish, and they don't smell good. I have been ordering from this vendor for years with no problem, so I don't know whether recent problems are because they are storing the cream improperly or it is a manufacturing problem. I have requested a replacement. If those tubs are bad, I will order directly from Barielle.

I used Barielle products many years ago and had forgotten about the brand. I'm sobhappy I rediscovered it. This cream absorbs quickly and is not greasy at all. It's easier to use than vitamin E oil and it won't make your manicure chip. Highly recommend.

10/01/12: Despite my initial disappointment outlined below, continued used of the product is yielding desired results. After almost a month of use my nails truly are less brittle, more supple, and not so painfully "thin" feeling. The splits and cracks are fewer and farther between. Still the only product of any help with the thumbnail that splits down the middle is super glue. Even so, perhaps with continued use, maybe this too will turn around. This leaves me eating crow from my critique of the initial experience, but it doesn't taste bitter considering the product benefit. Unfortunately despite continued use, my experience with the other two Barielle products remains unchanged-the nail hardener 'top coat' style product is rubbery, peels easily, and is gone after shower, the cuticle oil pools on the skin without being absorbed. ----------------------------- I so wanted this product to work but after two weeks it just flat out doesn't. Not for me anyway. I purchased 3 Barielle products at the same time. This nail strengthener to reduce splits and peels, and nail hardener that goes on like a top coat that is supposed to strengthen nails and keep them from splitting as well, and an oil that is to condition the cuticle bed. From the moment it arrived I began using per directions with high hopes. Nothing. No noticeable change at all. The excess didn't even serve as a skin softener. The reason I write this now, is that I have one nail that splits down the middle and I just snagged it once again, rather painful. I have worn acrylics as a protective barrier for years because my nails are so thin, brittle, and split. I fully expected to see some sort of improvement at this point. - At least something. I'll post comments on the other two related products but the Barielle top coat style nail hardener goes on kind of rubbery, peels off very easily, and doesn't prevent splitting or cracking in my experience. Nothing. What a disappointment. Now it's back to acrylics as at least my nails won't be snagging and ripping off simply as I walk around.

I have very thin nails that split often. The nail strengthener cream works very well to toughen them a bit and keeps them from splitting, providing I massage it into my nails every night. I will buy again and again.

Benutze diese Creme jetzt seit mehreren Wochen, drei bis viermal am Tag massiere ich alles gut in die Nägel ein. Eine Kräftigung der Nägel kann ich leider bis jetzt nicht feststellen (vielleicht kommt das noch) aber meine Nägel und die Nagelhaut sehen absolut gepflegt aus.Irgendwie gut genährt. Keine trockene Nagelhaut mehr und ich habe wirklich viele Produkte dafür gehabt .Diese Creme ist ihr Geld wert, auch wenn es mit den kräftigen Nägeln nicht klappen sollte, werde ich mir die Creme sicherlich nachkaufen, weil sie einfach sooo gut pflegt.

This product actually does what it says. It's perfect for men as there is no shiny nails while using this product as other products are. My nails [ I am male ] and I am absolutely delighted with this product and my nails improved within two weeks. Thank you.
