Thanks' for getting them so fast to me. I have to say the way you package them is a work of art and a true engineering feet. I buy them for the fine quality cabinets . The skill in the packaging is a true wonder . This is not the fist time I Buy your product, I have 5 of them . It seams handing of them get worse and worse . The outside the casing look like it come of a Battle area, the case ripped and hole in the casing . But every time the product not damage . True we soon forget the case it come in , but to me seeing your product in My home looking so great will always remind me the workmanship in getting it to Me. A Big Thanks' Arthur

This is the third Leslie Dame DVD cabinet I have ordered. The previous 2 units (MS-1050W) were slightly smaller but also arrived damaged; however, replacement parts were sent in short order. Once assembled, they look great. This larger unit (MS-1400W) had more damaged parts than the 2 smaller units. The root problem to all three shipments is the fact the boxes that make up the units are heavy (50-70lbs each). Consequently, shippers seem to drop the boxes on the ends which damage the delicate veneers on the long vertical panels along the corners, as well as all the back panels (made of hardboard material with the faux wood paper finish) along the same corner. For those who live along the East coast with numerous shipping stops and cargo mishandlings en route, buyer beware.While I had proactive customer service from the previous vendor (CYMAX) for the two smaller units, OJ Commerce customer service has been less proactive. After a week, I am still waiting for the status of replacement parts being sent. Most recently, OJ Commerce has not responded to email or phone call inquiries in the last two days. Will update with results (pro or con).Bottom line, be prepared to receive slightly damaged parts and deal with the hassle of getting replacement parts sent.

I was nervous buying such an expensive 'put it together yourself' piece of furniture on line. I must say I was not the least bit disappointed. It is gorgeous. Note that if you're putting it on a carpeted floor, you will need to get wall mounts, as it is not stable on carpet. It wasn't that hard to put together, even though it looked daunting at first. Instructions are pictures, and you have to pay very close attention to match the pictures to the actual pieces. Took me a couple of hours to construct. I liked it so much, I went to purchase another, but they are out of stock now in this size and color.

I did have my doubts about ordering a large piece such as this cabinet from Amazon ... and I was tempted to pay for the service to assemble the thing .... But it arrived - with a few minor scratches, but nothing that showed when it was assembled. The instructions were visual only - and just enough if you pay attention to the details. I had no problem putting it together myself. . I'd caution others to assemble right where you want it or darned close as you sure don't want to move it. This cabinet is heavy. It's a substantial piece. And it's quite lovely.

Very nice product! When it arrived the box was mangled, and I was worried about the condition of the product, but it was double boxed and well protected, and in perfect shape. It took about an hour to put together, and it was pretty easy (although it takes two people for some parts of the work). Decent finish, if a little uneven, but very nice quality. Sliding doors worked great, and the layout allows for pretty dense and efficient storage (I used it for CDs only and have ordered another one for DVDs).

My husband teaches film studies, so we have a ridiculous collection of DVDs that pile up. I bought him one of these and a second, matching, smaller one to create an entire wall of DVD storage. Now, he is not handy, so it took him probably 6 hours to unpack, sort, and assemble this larger one, but it is gorgeous, and holds as many as he expected. I highly recommend the investment.

I ordered this product from Amazon, but I was somewhat worried about its size and weight for shipping purposes. The product arrived as promised with no damage in 3 fairly heavy boxes. It does take a while to assemble, but the final result is very fine. It looks great and is very functional for CD's and DVD's. The glass doors are particularly nice looking. I am very pleased and would highly recommend this cabinet and, of course, Amazon.

Beautiful piece of furniture. I put it together by myself (59 yo female). It took about 2 1/2 hours. The directions were clear and easy to follow. It really looks like I spent a lot more money and had it delivered from an expensive furniture store. I would buy Leslie Dame furniture again.
