Comfortable Boots with promising future.
I wanted to write a review on these boots as well as discuss the common discomfort in the left boot. These boots look like the C4T but are a bit different. Although I have always loved the C4T, they are essentially sneaker boots and aside of utility around base when you really get out an about they weren’t great for the environment. These boots seem more substantial in their construct of the sole as well as the leather. They looks similar however are a bit more stiff initially. Not with regards to the pain inside the boot for the left foot. I found this common with most Rocky’s. It seems the construction of the leather leaves a flap that will slightly fold over right near your toes, if you don’t flatten this flap out it will bring a pretty good bit of discomfort while you wear. I found that you need to fully loosen the laces and position your foot inside sliding it back and forth to let the flap sit flat. After a few times of wearing this way it shouldn’t matter anymore as it will soften and not fold over anymore. Hope this helps, a bit of a pain (literally) but I still like the boots a lot.

Great weird boot - amazing for long road rucks
Who am I: 230LB. 40min 5 mile. 2.5h 12 mile ruck. I like hooha things. I recommend you get different boots depending on what your task is - get the right tool for the job as they say. This is a great product for ruck marches. Background: These boots look weird and very crinkly/noisy. But didn't have a choice since I was short on the packing list and that's all the PX had in my size. BEST ACCIDENT EVER. These shoes (with a pair of good insoles - recommend Walkomfy Heavy Duty!) are better than the garmont bifida for long road marches/uniform runs. The noise goes away once you break them in. I am on my second set and not looking anywhere else. The garmont bifida probalby still wins on the rope climb or super rough hiking where grip is needed... so I have a couple of pairs of these too. Try them.

Good
Good boots feel great broke in quickly sizes definitely run bigger. Usually a 10W but feels like a 9.5W or even a 9W would of worked

Different than cheaper version sold at patriots
Rocky makes two versions of this boot. This model comes with a thicker sole and the upper ankle part crunches like a plastic bag when you walk. I’ve owned my for two months and wore them everyday for work and the sound has not crunchy diaper sound for a little better but is still there. My older version of these boot were much cheaper made but didn’t need a break in. I still recommend them for their comfort. Update: upper is separating from the sole despite only using in the office. I will not buy again - unless issue is addressed by the seller. Update: Rocky replaced my boots free of charge. Problem was they claimed the boots I sent back were never received then realized they did have them and after 2 mos of calling they shipped my new pair.

Comfortable but low quality
Love the boots, very comfortable. However, I bought these in 6 months ago and they are already falling apart.

Had the boot for 2+ years
I have trouble finding wide boots and these fit perfect. Bought them during my deployment at the end of 2017 beginning of 2018, and they are still serving me perfectly in early 2020. I was looking to buy another pair of boots to start breaking in and I came back to look at these same boots and was surprised to see such bad reviews. Although I do agree with some things that were said I don’t necessarily consider them bad enough to give these anything less than 5 stars. The two boots are slightly different in color and have faded from a true coyote brown to a lighter coyote or dark tan. But still coyote enough to stay in regs. They are a little heavier, and that seems to mostly be in the sole. Which I don’t mind because in these two years the sole and tread have barely worn down and haven’t fallen apart at all. I also have not experienced any of the tears I’ve seen in some people’s pictures. The price does seem to have gone up a little bit from what I remember when I bought these last but I plan on buying another pair. I’ve had these for 2+ years and see no reason why they won’t last me at least another year or two. The best and most reasonably priced wide boot out there. Even if I didn’t wear a wide ide probably buy them. They’ve lasted longer than any other boot I’ve had.

Pretty Good Boots
These are pretty good boots. The soles are very comfortable; literally the most comfortable military boot I've ever had! Although these are good, there are a couple things that need fixing (reason for the 3 stars). Color: I was pretty dissatisfied in the color. They have a light picture and then if you scroll down you see darker pictures of this boot. The actual color seems more of just Coyote and not Coyote Brown (compared to my other Coyote Brown boots). The Coyote brown I've had before is usually darker. Rocky has another lightweight boot in the suggestions at the bottom of this one whose actual true color is Coyote Brown. I would've ordered that one but it wasn't on Amazon at the time I got these. Laces: These laces are somewhat short. I've broken my boots in (been wearing for about 2 months now) and I still have to constantly, excessively tighten these to get them through the top eyelets of the boots all the way. This creates little room for a double knot, which is needed. I really like these boots but I may need new laces. Width: This wasn't actually bad at all. I always get wide sizes but with these the wide was actually really big. Again, not a bad thing, just got a regular size and they fit great. The toebox is also pretty wide already so I would suggest getting a regular size unless if you wear maybe an extra wide shoe or something.

Solid lightweight comfort.
This is a second pair I got (my new spare pair, 😂) because I love them. Those used ones are over three years old. They take a while (couple weeks or less) to break in and go silent. When new, they crinkle like a paper bag around the ankles. Soon that's fine and super silent. Very comfortable in the long wear through the day with more support than tennis shoes. Gripping durable soles, breathable, Nato eyelets for easy on and off. Did I mention there weight? Hardly any. I wear them almost all day everyday. Casual to work. Not waterproof but dry quickly when wet. DA PAM 670-1 (dated 31 MAR 2014) The last picture shows three years wear on the soles. Dirt, grass, yard work and all the city concrete. Worth the money to me.

Excelente material, suela y peso.

Minor tongue problems
Feel comfortable, the tongue can be a pain but gets better if I give it a tug
