My result with this treatment
hair treatment! I’m really happy with this KATIVA treatment kit. The instructions were easy to follow, and while the process takes a little time, the results are definitely worth it. My hair felt much softer, shinier, and easier to manage after the first use. The biggest difference I noticed was how much it reduced frizz and made my hair look smoother without feeling heavy or greasy. Styling my hair is now much easier, and I don’t need to use as much heat to get a sleek look. I recommend following the instructions carefully for the best results. If you’re looking for an affordable at-home treatment that leaves your hair smooth, healthy-looking, and manageable, I highly recommend this product. I would definitely buy it again!

My hair felt much smoother, softer, and shinier after using it, and it helped reduce frizz without making my hair feel heavy. It gave me a sleek, healthy look that lasted for weeks with proper care. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable at-home keratin treatment

Best at home keratin treatment I have used
I bought this because I wanted to control my frizz at home without spending a lot at a salon. First impression: The kit includes the treatment and a shampoo and conditioner, and the instructions are easy to follow(I also searched for a YouTube video to make sure I understood right). After using it I notice: ✅ my hair looked smoother and less frizzy right away ✅ It made my hair easier to style and manage ✅ My hair had more shine and felt softer ✅It last 6 months What I liked: -Good results for the price - Works well for wavy frizzy hair What I didn't liked: - The process takes some time to do properly - need to be in a ventilated area because the room is going to have a lot of smoke -since you need to dry the hair with the product on use a hair brush you don't mind getting messy (I got a cheap brush just for that). Who is this good for: 👉 Anyone with frizzy or wavy hair who wants a more straight, smooth look at home Final Verdict: I would recommend this because it gives noticeable results without paying salon prices. It takes time to apply but for the price it's definitely worth trying. I would use it again.

10/10 RECOMMEND WILL BUY AGAIN
First: THIS WILL TAKE ANY COLOR HAIR DYE OUT OF YOUR HAIR . IF YOU HAVE COLORED HAIR, BUY THE COLOR SAFE ONE. My curl/wave pattern is a mixture of 2c wavy and 3A curly. My hair is also super dry and gets frizzy easy. If I am wearing MY HAIR straight I absolutely have to blow dry it and straighten it(and use tons of anti-frizz products. And on the days that it rains or it is humid outside my hair gets super frizzy and puffy. So living in Georgia where we have very humid summers typically during the summers I have to wear my hair pulled back, or curly with a good cast to keep it from getting puffy, bc no amount of frizz ease or moisturizing hair cream helps. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO JUST WASH MY HAIR AND LET IT AIR DRY, OR ONLY WASH AND BLOW DRY. This product has SAVED me so much time. My hair feels healthier than it has ever felt It is so soft and shiny. And I can literally wash my hair brush it and go and when it dries it is still straight and not poofy/frizzy. So far it has been about 3 weeks and my hair is still amazing! For those who said it didn't work I fully believe they did not follow the instructions and do it properly. It is a long process but if you do it properly I promise you you will achieve the results that you want. The longest part of the process is blow drying your hair after you put the treatment in. After you put the treatment in let it sit on your hair for the amount of time that it tells you which is I think like 20 minutes. After that section your hair and use a very fine tooth comb and comb your hair in sections and get the excess treatment out with the comb. Every time you comb your hair you have to use a towel to get the excess off of the comb, You want to get as much excess out of your hair as you can before you start to blow dry it ,Don't worry if you don't think you've got out enough of the excess treatment, It's fine it will just take you a little longer to blow dry it in. You want to do this in a very well ventilated area, If you don't have big ventilated areas you can do it in you can do it in a small area however I would definitely suggest taking a fan and opening a window and having the fan set up to where it sucks all of the air from inside of the room that you're in and blows it out the window. The blow drying step would be better if you had someone to help you only because depending on how thick or long your hair is it can take a while. It took me about 2 hours to get it dry (no breaks) because it has to be completely dry before you start the straightening phase. I really think people are not letting get all the way dry before they straighten it and that's probably why it's not working as well. So if you have another person that can help you I would suggest it My husband ended up coming again helping me so my arms could take a break. Also do not put anything else in your hair Do not try to put no heat protectant in or any additional conditioners. Once your hair is completely dry that's when you're going to straighten it. I put my flat iron on 450 (typically I only have it at 350 whenever I flat iron my hair) Now, This is an important step because if you do not straighten your hair properly, the treatment may not work as good. Instead of flat ironing my hair the way I normally would which is just three or four sections I actually sectioned it off to smaller sections that way I could really focus on each section. Also you're not going to hold your straightener on each section like some people do when they're straightening their hair and they hold it for a few seconds before they move it down, your going to do medium passes (not fast passes but not too slow bc if you go really slow you risk heat damage) but you're going flat iron each section, with about 10 passes so make sure you really get that treatment to work. My hair is medium thickness. The front of my hair comes down about an inch below my collarbone and the back of my hair comes down to about 2 in above my bra. I used to dye my hair a lot and I would need three boxes of dye. The amount of product that comes with one box of this treatment was plenty and I still had some left over. If you have some stubborn areas of your hair, Where you feel like the treatment didn't work as good You can always use the treatment you have left over and only put it on that one area blow dry it and Let it sit for 20 minutes and flat iron it. Instead of doing your entire head again. (It has a 6 month shelf life after open). However, If you do have long hair I would suggest buying two just to make sure you have plenty. I have fallen in love with this product so much that I have been telling everyone about it! I was not paid for my review I bought this product with my own money after doing research myself on something that will help with my poofiness and my frizz.

Amazing Product! Avoid the harsh salon chemicals!
Used to pay the price at the salon; will NEVER again. YES it is a bit time consuming but if you want great results put in the work! This is by far the best hair product I have come across in years. It does exactly what it says, makes your hair EXTREMELLY soft and helps with damaged ends. Straightened out my puffy frizzy hair just enough without losing body and volume. Blowout takes 10 minutes with fresh out of the shower hair; five minutes for partially air dried hair. I used this the first time before a 10 day vacation in Italy during a heat wave; my hair was perfect the entire trip. Highly recommend this product and have already done it on a bunch of my friends.

Don’t think about it. Just get it.
Dude it works! I’m trying to avoid another relaxer but my hair is coarse and I needed some help! I’m not sure a relaxer has ever gotten it this silky! 👏🏾 It took me about an hour and a half for the whole process. Which I thought wasn’t bad! The treatment felt almost like it was burning my scalp while wet but didn’t feel that way dry or after I washed it out(nothing close to what a relaxer burn feels like). I had to turn on a vent and fan while flat ironing. The smell was heavy! But worth it for the result. I still have a lot left for another treatment. Maybe two more. So well worth the money and was easy to do at home.

Fine hair, straight naturals in the summer, rejoice!
After years of having to cut inches off my hair every winter from the damage braids were doing to my hair every summer, I decided no braids this summer. I also didn’t want to go back to the salon as I’m still recovering from a botched haircut. Needless to say, as a 4c girl, I’ve been fighting for my life. I was about to make a braid appointment, until I saw a straight natural’s video about her keratin treatment & next thing you know this is at my doorstep. I read the full directions from the qr code, watched a couple of videos & got started. I took my time & followed the directions to the letter. I’m not going to lie. When I started blow drying my hair with the treatment in, I got scared. My hair felt stiff & tacky, and I couldn’t quite tell if it was actually dry. If you’ve ever had protein overload, it kinda felt like that and I was shaking in my boots. It was time to put the flat iron on this mess and it felt like I was abandoning every basic hair care principle I know. I looked in the mirror, convinced myself my face is pretty enough for me to be bald, and I started flat ironing, prepared for my hair to melt off. After doing two of the tiniest sections, I saw my hair remained attached to my head and I finished the treatment. My hair felt better but still a little stiff. I was tired at this point, but I didn’t want my hair to over process, so I told myself I’d do the the final wash & condition and just go for a quick blow dry, and I’d style it in the morning. Imagine my surprise when it took 5 minutes to blow dry my hair and when looked in the mirror, my hair was already done. Shiny, healthy, and the best it’s looked in years. The only thing I did to my hair in the morning is throw some heated rollers in for 10 minutes. When I do this again in a the fall, I’ll probably turn down the heat on the flat iron during the treatment because I wouldn’t mind a bit more volume and it will be easier to manage when it’s not so humid. And that’s the best part to me. Doing this one time already shows me how I can make adjustments to get exactly the results I’m looking for. The only regret I have is not doing this years ago. I could have saved myself thousands of dollars, hours of time, and so much frustration from these hair stylists making me read their 30 pages of rules & charging $300 for a blow out.

Too much work for so little payout
EDIT: I had leftover treatment and decided to just do a second round. I found the second time a little easier and slightly less time consuming (only slightly), and ended up with a looser curl pattern like I had wanted. Still not sure if the time invested is worth the output (2 treatments with 2+ hours of work each), but I was trying to avoid permanently altering my hair structure, so maybe that's the payoff. Depending on how and if/when this fades from my hair will determine if I think it's worth the effort, I suppose. But for now the results aren't bad. (original) I will preface this by saying i started half-assing this about halfway through. I was careful about not adding too much product and combing out the excess, but during the drying process it just *would not* dry. My hair remained sticky even after 30+ minutes of blow drying on high power. This was also why I was unable to do smaller sections with the flat iron. The end result is my curls looking more defined and juicy on most parts of my hair, but not the looser pattern I was hoping for. I can't complain too much, but it would have been nice to have more detailed instructions rather than the most basic of steps just on the side of the box (not even a peice of paper inside--what if the box had been damaged?). Also, the fumes are pretty potent. I had the window open and a fan blowing everything away from me and still had a few light coughing fits. All in all, I think I'd rather just do a relaxer or texturizer, as they're cheaper and easier, but will now have to wait for these chemicals to fade.

I LOVE IT!!!!
If you are thinking about purchasing this product don’t wait!!! I love it. I’ve used many other products but they were either so expensive or not good enough. I followed each step on the manual carefully. Additionally I kept the keratin mask over a night and ironed again then washed it. The result is amazing. My hair was damaged but now it is very shiny, very smooth and straight. My sister used the mask without prewash shampoo and the result is the same. Definetly recommended!
