Great little sound machine!
This sound machine is great for travel! Nice and compact. Lasts about 9 hours on a full charge. I use a Marpac at home and this one has a very similar white noise sound along with some other options. Really great buy.

Powerful little sound machine that’s great for travel
This is the perfect white noise machine for travel. It’s light, has a few simple sound and volume options but enough that you don’t feel like it’s lacking and both electrical outlet or battery operated. I took it with me to the hospital when I gave birth. The first night I used battery power only and it lasted through the night. After that I kept it plugged in so it didn’t randomly shut off on us. It’s powerful for a little machine. The only issue I ran into was it stopped working when plugged into a couple outlets. (I’m not an electrical engineer so it was bizarre to me that it worked in some and not others when I checked and all outlets powered my phone.) However, support is amazing. They were super responsive and offered to replace it immediately. Therefore, even if you end up with something wrong, you know that one year warranty will protect you.

Great sound machine for baby
This is a basic, easy to use sound machine with 4 different sounds. I only use the white noise option for the baby. It’s very easy to use, the sound and volume are great, and battery life is long. Can also use while being plugged up charging. Great value, no need for a hatch brand sound machine/light. I have 2 of these- one for home and one on the car seat.

Great for babies, travel and college kids!
I honestly was iffy on using a sound machine with our daughter and decided not to bother. We wound up taking a newborn sleep class that recommended one and after learning that it’s easy to wean baby off the sound machine (I was nervous we’d create a fussy sleeper), we decided to give it a shot. We’ve been using it for three months now and love it. I’m also happy to say if I forget to charge it or accidentally leave it home while we are out, she can still sleep just fine. But this is great just to drown out background noise to help her fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. I personally like no sound and light while I’m sleeping but we still have her in a bassinet in our room and this doesn’t bother me at all. I honestly chose the Rohm for the reviews and, maybe even more so, for it’s look. I preferred the white which is why I didn’t get the baby version. It’s small and chic to look at and love that we can use it as she gets older or even for ourselves down the road (as I could see this coming in handy for traveling) and it doesn’t scream “baby gear”. Love the little string that allows me to easily attach this to the stroller, car seat or diaper bag. At night, we typically just set this on the nightstand or even near her feet in the bassinet (every once and awhile she’ll kick it just right and switch the type of sound that’s playing but that causes no harm and makes us laugh while she still sleeps away). There are only 4 buttons so it’s easy to turn off, control the volume or switch the sounds while juggling the baby in one hand and is simple for grandparents or sitters to figure out right away too. It fits in the palm of your hand so takes up hardly any real estate in the diaper bag while traveling. It easily lasts through the night and into daytime naps on one charge. I tend to pop it on the charger daily just because. I really love that it has a USB charger (I just use the plug-in from my iPhone) instead of batteries! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a baby/toddler, someone who travels or even a college student (this would have come in handy in the dorms/college apartments). The quality is obvious and I feel like it’s honestly already laid for itself and we plan on using it for a long while. New parents, treat yourself to this or register for it! Or if you have new parents in your life, this would make a great gift.

Very good!
I love these - the sound quality is great, as is the battery for the first couple of years. It's easy to travel with, hardly taking up any space. The only reason for subtracting a star is they only last ~3 years, then they don't work unless plugged in, then they die completely a few months after that. At the price point, it's not a huge deal. I just bought my 3rd one.

QUIETER than my old white noise machine
Back in the old days, when I lived in Austin, Texas, and not everyone had air conditioning (it was a LONG time ago), I slept with a fan in the window to try and keep cool at night. It helped ever so slightly. But the interesting result was that the sound of the fan drowned out the sound of the neighborhood, thereby decreasing the incidence of noise intrusion into my sleep. I found that even after I actually HAD air conditioning, I missed the sound of the fan. First I used a tower-type air purifier type thing thinking at least that would be DOING something besides making noise, but that unit became another thing to take care of, cleaning the filter, dusting it, and moving it out of the way when I had company. I happened across the Marpac noise machines and started using those. LOVE THEM, but they didn't provide much in the way of controls - and they were LOUD. They eventually made a smaller "travel" model, with various international plugs and dual voltage, which I purchased and took with me all over the world. These had better volume controls and the ability to change the type of sounds (rain, waves, etc.) Ah ha, hotels now became more bearable: No more elevator pings, less chatter from the neighbors and less hallway interference. Then, I accidentally forgot to change my plug adapter from a foreign trip for a US trip. Shocking. I had to sleep au naturel. It drove me crazy, so I got out the next day and went to a Best Buy store. They don't really sell over the counter white noise machines. So I purchased a small, portable baby sleep machine, which I still take with me for travel because it operates on 3 AAA batteries so I don't need to charge it. But when I got home, I went back online to Marpac and found they made a smaller version of my old sleep noise machine with fewer bells and whistles. It is MUCH smaller than the old one I used to bring with me on trips, and is also much quieter. Yet somehow, it works very well. I'm sleeping as well as ever, but can't sleep without it. So between the portable battery operated one and the USB charged one - I am sleeping like a baby - at home and abroad. LOVE these machines and recommend them to everyone who is sleep challenged. Could just be the ambient noise in your room/house/hotel that's keeping you awake. But, beware, it's habit forming.

Perfect white noise machine
I cannot sleep without this thing. It has different sounds, volumes, and it drowns out outside noises. I especially love its tiny travel size so it doesn’t take up room on bedside tables wherever you are.

Great -- Until It Suddenly Stopped Working
We purchased this travel sound machine for several reasons/uses: 1. My husband and I didn't live around any family, so we knew we'd be traveling with our little to visit with anyone, especially over the holidays. 2. We live on a busy street and having the Dohm near his bedside and an extra white noise machine on particularly loud days, would help to keep our little asleep during naps. 3. Our son had colic and we ended up having to spend 95% of our day just sitting on the couch with him in our arms, to keep him content and sleeping. I was an avid hiker so I longed to get out and walking, at least around the neighborhood. We found that our little didn't do well with all the noisy traffic when we went for walks, so having this in the stroller with him helped to keep him content for at least 10 minutes while I was outside. Therefore, altogether, we probably used this travel machine about 50 times (and I think I'm being generous). It was amazing for those times we used it and truly helpful. But all of a sudden (just after the year warranty was up) and right when we needed it to work due to a big out-of-state move, it started having issues charging it. About 3 days after the charging issues started, it stopped completely. I took to the internet for recourses, called the company, emailed, checked with reviews and questions here on Amazon, but nothing. No one ever answered or contacted me back. It is frustrating to have a product for a year and have it completely die. I have coffee machines I have used daily, that were passed down from my parents, who used them for a decade prior than me. There is no need for a machine to breakdown after such a short time. At this point, I'm thinking of going with a Hatch Rest to have a sound machine that I can take many places, as well as all the other features (like sleep training assistance for toddlers, nightlight, etc.). And from the looks at the reviews and my research, that thing lasts forever. So disappointing.

Will recommend
Battery can go a good run with one charge. I put it on charger during the night when I put the baby for the long sleep stretch and don’t need to move it around so much. Still, I don’t have to charge it every night. The three sounds are quite alright (soft and gentle and cannot hear a loop even if there is one), volume levels are good - I enjoy the option for rapid increase/decrease of the volume, when needed. I like that the size allows to put it my diaper bag or a purse when out. Best feature compared to other sound machines I’ve used, is that there is no timer - baby sleeps peacefully without getting startled each time a timer runs out.

Travel noise machine
It is small and light. We use it as baby sleep aid. On the down side, it will last about 2 nights before we run out of battery. It will play while charged but issue may arise if not removed every couple weeks. As we don’t travel with it, in retrospect perhaps we should have bought dohm. However it is definitely a good buy.

Ideal for what we needed
Despite its size, this unit packs plenty of oomph, providing as much or as little white noise as needed. Plus, it is portable. Very happy.

IT WORKS!
I was bothered by the stomping sound created by my neighbor living above my flat. Decided to try this noise machine and am pleasantly surprised that it works! I shared this with a few friends who bought it as well and told me that it helped them as well.

Ruído diferente
Ele atende um pouco da expectativa. tem dois ruídos brancos apenas e um som de mar, parecem abafados mas tem um volume alto. Você se acostuma e acaba atendendo ao propósito.
