Meridian peanut butter has only one ingredient. Peanuts. No Palm oil. No salt. No sugar (which is routinely added to lower quality and cheaper brands). Just lovely peanuts. Tasty, nutritious, and versatile (a lot of mine goes into peanut sauces).Literally the best peanut butter.And this supplier is substantially cheaper than my local supermarket.

Meridian Crunchy Peanut Butter is everything it promises to be.Literally crunchy peanut butter with absolutely nothing added. No salt and no palm oil. It is unlike every other peanut butter out there.Even though there is no added salt or sugar it is mot lacking any flavour due to their omission. I consider it to be the most flavoursome peanut butter available.When you remove the lid for the first time, you will most likely encounter a pool of oil on top of the nut butter. Don’t let this put you off. As they state on the tub: “Stir and enjoy”! The oil naturally separates out from the nut butter over time because Meridian do not add palm oil which would act as a stabiliser and stop the oil separating. However, palm oil would also alter the taste of the product and by not using it Meridian are helping to the reduce demand for this oil and doing their bit to slow the invasive monoculture of the palm oil plantations currently taking over the forests of Indonesia.Having gently stirred the the oil back in you are rewarded with a rich brown lumpy tub of deliciousness, much more appealing than the insipid yellowy tan colour of most peanut butters. It is a somewhat gloopy, lumpy product which does not spread so easily as the competitors concoctions, but it is not too difficult either and is so much more satisfying.So, what are you waiting for?Buy it!

Nice 100 percent peanut butter with no rainforest destroying palm oil!As there is no palm oil it does tent to settle out a little but a good stir returns it's consistency a little is better than no rainforests & it's better for you. Every little bit helps & if it tastes good too where's the problem.

I buy these big tubs as I get through a lot of peanut butter - mostly as a treat for the dog (she can have this brand as there are no additives of any kind - it's 100% peanut). The peanut butter is certainly crunchy, there are some very big bits of peanut in there so if you're looking for something to spread this may not be the easiest as it'll rip bread or toast to pieces! The peanut butter also tends to separate (as there are no additionla ingredients added to prevent this) - just needs a good stir to mix the oil back in.All in all very happy with this brand of peanut butter and the big tubs are much better than having to buy lots of smaller ones. I'll be buying more for certain.

Like any other natural/organic peanut butters this needs a stir upon opening. I find regular stirs to mix the peanut oil every few days or so helps too. Really tasty, lots of peanut chunks, crunchy as described. Excellent value for money too. Even a full tub this size doesn’t last long in my household!

Great taste and consistency

Meridian has been my favourite all time peanut butter for about 10 years and I eat a lot of it. Normally I buy it from my supermarket, but I was away working and had taken my last run with me so I knew I had none indoors and was back in the early hours so I saw this two pack deal (not a massive discount from supermarket price) and as Amazon know where to leave my goods when I’m not there I ordered this and all I can say is “Thank you for trying to ruin my all time favourite peanut butter for me”Let me explain when you open a tub of Meridian peanut butter you always get a bit of oil on top this had loads of it (as I read in some reviews, but thought this was people not use to this) so I mixed it in I spent 5 minutes of nonstop mixing and it was still so oily and when I tasted it that was all I could taste NEVER in the past 10 years plus have I tasted this peanut butter and it’s been that bad.So all I can think is this supplier must be keeping it somewhere warm and then I noticed the BBE date and it literally has two months left (now a tub doesn’t last me long so not a problem normally) if you’re only knocking about £3 off on old stock then you’re taking the pxss. An open tub from new can last up to 3 months open, yet these tubs don’t even have that long left before the Best Before End date.So I for one will never buy from this supplier again and you could of made a small fortune from me if you’d got this right.
