I've used it solo just as much as with a second person. Sit in the back seat but reposition it forward just a bit for stability.

Is this good for a beginner kayaker

I'm a beginner and I find it easy and enjoyable.

I inflated the kayak and when I put it in the water, the side filled with water. I don't seem to have a leak b/c the air is holding. What gives?

Idk unless you forgot to plug the drain plug

Great inflatable kayak

Works great! Easy to blow up and deflate. Only concern is that when the fin is on underneath, it seems to spin the kayak around but might just be that we’re not great kayakers
