I live in an older subdivision that does not have street lights and my driveway is about 130 feet long. I drive a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 quadcab (with camper shell) and staying on the driveway while backing up in the dark has been a challenge. NO MORE! These little lights illuminate my entire driveway all the way back to the house! The best way to describe it is for you to imagine Chevy Chase's neighbors in Christmas Vacation... light for everyone! They fit great and work wonderfully as reverse lights (3057/3157). If you intend on using them as brake lights, it might be obnoxiously... plus there are some challenges that could arise with installation since the brake/blinker lights have 4-prong connection in the circuit board, vice the 2-prong connection for the reverse lights. Bottom line is that now that I light up the world, my wife wants some for her van!

Used these in the daytime running lights of a truck and they blew us away. These were brighter than the stock halogen headlights and we only used it in the DRL lights. The color is spot on pure white, no blue tinge at all. The build quality is perfect and the design of all the small leds around the side gives it very appealing dispersion throughout the housing and reflectors.

I bought and installed these lights on a 2001 Jeep Cherokee. The stock rear/break lights were hard to see in inclement weather, which can be dangerous when driving under heavy rain. These bulbs were the answer. They are really bright and can be seeing from long distances. The only drawback, at least in my case, is that they flash too quickly as they are not error free. Though this can be corrected with a resistor or an electronic relay, it can add to the price of these bulbs, thus my four stars. However, I may add that fast blinking may not be a problem for some and, as far as I know, will not cause damage to either the lights bulbs or the relay.

These LEDs are Bright! I purchased these to replace my halogen backup lights on my Hummer H3. I had just installed new LED taillight units, but the backup lights on the new units were still halogens and did not look good. So when looking for replacement bulbs I noticed how bright the lumens were on this set of LEDs. I also noticed the price was more the brighter units. So I took a chance on these and I'm very pleased, they make me laugh because they are so bright. I have attached pictures to show how bright they are. These lights are bright white and crisp.

Cannot comment on longevity yet but the brightness of these are amazing. I was looking to install some lights you have to cut into the bumper to install then found these and thought I would give them a try. Wow, what a difference! I use them on a 2003 Ford F-250 super duty with tinted rear windows and backing up at night with the standard light bulbs was a joke. I can really see behind me now!

Update: one burned out after three months which is substantially less than their claim of 50,000 hours (2083 days). And since reverse lights are used much less than brakes or turn signals that’s even more damning. Very disappointed. Original review: Used for reverse lights in my Lincoln Town Car. A remarkable improvement over incandescents. Thinking of buying two more for my cornering lamps.

Over the years with the introduction of the LED CREE bulb in the auto industry I have not found a better, brighter, well made bulb. I have tried many aftermarket LED bulbs and these are the best so far. 6000K White and bright as all get out. I have replaced every 3057 & 3157 bulb with these on my H2. I suggest you do the same to your vehicle.
