I am handicapped and cannot bend down, so I have a number of grabber-reacher tools throughout the house. I have tried about 6 different companies. ArcMate is far and above the best. You can pick up a tiny pill, or lift a heavy jar of spaghetti sauce. That's because of these little suction cups that firmly grab onto your item, plus the metal grabbers are strong. I like the long ones for picking up something when I'm standing, and I love these 22" grabbers for when I'm sitting, and for getting laundry out of the washer or dryer. Now I'm dreaming of an ArcMate that opens like a folding umbrella. Don't waste your money on all those other grabbers.

Highly recommend to young & old folks, beats bending over and at times, touching something, well NASTY! This is my second ArcMate grabber ... my only mistake on this order was getting a shorter one - next one is going to be longest again! Yes, you can replace the tips - I order mine from the factory whole set including both sides & fastening nuts. Get the longest grabber and spoil yourself ... YOLO

I have a bad back and purchased this device specifically to remove laundry from the washing machine. The rubberized tips work well on the wet clothing and sheets. I expected a little more load capacity as it is advertised as a 5 lb. pickup, but find that I have to position the fingers just right onto the heavier items like queen sized sheets or it won't give me the leverage that I need. But once I lift a portion of the sheets closer to the opening of the washer, then I can grab the heavier item myself to pull the item out. I haven't used it yet on a load of towels but imagine that for the larger towels it will be the same as it is for the sheets. I don't like the fact that it has aluminum shaft and clasping end because I don't want to scratch my washer with it. I would have preferred a different material that would be better suited to protect the washer from scratches, but the length of this device and the fact that it can pick up wet material, unlike those with plastic grippers, is most important for me. I have a 36 inch type of grabber tool, but that is too awkward to pull out wet laundry from the washer. So this size is much better.

This so my third EZ reacher. The company replaced my first one after two years of intense use. Very pleased with the performance of the product and the company standing by their warranty. I bought another so I have one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen. Currently both are broken BUT. I cannot complain.I have used these continually for over two years. They are incredibly reliable. The cups do not fall off like so some less expensive brands. I've tried several and these are by far the best. A bit pricy but worth it in the long run. Personally I do not like the delux with the red lever. It is a lock latch for the grip and it works great but I prefer to not use it. I have had two sizes basically short and long. Preference is short...just my personal like. It is capable of picking up small flat objects like pennies, larger items such a boc of Kleenex. The kitchen one I use to get jars and cans down from upper cabinet shelves. I love them and depend on them. This brand will outlast and out perform all the others. Plus it has a life time warranty!

The Arcmate grabber is a high quality well constructed tool. The blue silicone cups make it easy to pick up small objects. I now have three of them. Due to permanent injuries the Arcmate grabbers allow me to function in daily life. I have tried other brands and designs but they all either broke or were so poorly designed couldn’t pick up objects. I use one for the garage and outdoor chores. The others I use for indoor tasks.

The box is pretty beat up and torn. It looks like the product is OK. Another thing it opens just a few inches like 3 inches or the last time we had it was up about 5 inches. Good for pick up small things like a maybe a pill bottle or something like it may be OK, but it just doesn’t open very wide which comes in handy

I cannot bend so reachers are essential. When something falls on the floor, I use it to pick it up. This reacher is well-made and sturdy. That's not true of many others which are cheaply fabricated. I purchased two so I could keep them easily available. When they arrived, I was a bit put off because I had not realized that model I bought was just 26" long. I own several longer ones and almost returned them. I'm glad I didn't. The short size is easy to store and is much less bulky than my longer ones. I keep one in each room, one in the car and one in my office. That way when I drop something on the floor, I can pick it right up. Sweet.

I now have four grabbers. After spine surgery I found I could not reach even some of the most minimal places…like when I drop my shoe and have to straighten it up to put on (slip-ons only!). I rearranged a cupboard entirely with this grabber! What a relief! Sent one to my sister-in-law as she is fairly short and she loves hers, too! I keep them in different rooms and carry one with me in my bag which is hooked to the walker….feel like a bag lady on the streets of L.A.! Once I am healed I plan to keep using them to save my back and make life easier! This one is the perfect length for intermediate items. There is one slightly shorter for when I am sitting in my chair, and one slightly longer to reach higher up and to reach the floor. I am the proud owner of all three!
