Used to react bismuth with nitric acid on a hot plate with another beaker full of ice on top.The temperature changes have broken some in the past. I think this smaller, thicker beaker should handle temp changes a little better.

Arrived in perfect condition and in good time. Couldn’t be more pleased. Exactly what I was hoping for.

This beaker was significantly thicker than a standard beaker which will work nicely for us as my wife is a bit rough and uses these for her morning Aeropress habit. The only reason I didn't give it 5-stars was that instead of the glass being perfectly smooth as with other beakers we have had, it had small bumps of glass on the surface along the top rim that appeared to be from the manufacturing process. I have no idea how to get rid of these since they are integral to the glass body. They are more of an annoyance than anything, but I would have expected better quality for this price.

This baby is heavy duty. Thicc with 2 cs.

I will order more of these when needed. It really is a heavier walled beeker. I like that inside curves where the side meets the bottom. It easier to clean out from thicker liquids. I do wish for a narrower, tall option.
