This is the 8th one I've purchased from Amazon
I have a Sterilight Silver UV disinfection system that I installed in 2005. It requires an S810RL UV light with a recommended replacement schedule of 12 months. For a few years I tried different brands, usually buying the cheapest bulb available. A couple arrived broken, some wouldn't light, and some failed prematurely.The first Viqua I bought came directly Viqua. It was packaged flawlessly, came with replacement gaskets, and worked a full year. Since, I have never had a Viqua fail, once using a bulb for a year and a half (I kept hitting the reset button on the controller.) I will openly admit to buying from sources other than Amazon in the past, but this is my 8th consecutive purchase from Amazon, because I know it will get to me within a couple of days.You can buy cheaper bulbs, but not better bulbs.
