PowRyte 18 Gauge 2-in-1 Air Brad Nailer/Narrow Crown Stapler with Tool-Free Jam Release Mechanism

The standard generic brad nailer/stapler. No reason to pay more money when at the cost of this unit you can have two of them for the price of one brand name product. It does the job just as well as any and if you buy two, there is always backup. It has held up through thousands of brads and staples. It works.

The item came in an unmarked cardboard box and not a retail package. I ran about 500 brads through this thing before I got a jam - it could have been my fault but I don't believe I was moving too fast. I had to learn how to take apart the gun which I knew would void my warranty but for the price I figured I had nothing to lose plus I would need to learn how to work on my tools anyways. By looking closely and marking all the pins I was able to fix the jam no problem at oil and oil it back up in the process and it runs like a champ again. It is obviously light-weight and not made of heavy duty material, but for home use it's a great buy. I wouldn't recommend this as an "on the job" tool for reliance.

lasted 5 projects then the top seal started leaking air and miss fired a bunch

It works okay, but it doesn't come with any replacement parts. It gave out before I was finished with my projects. I wouldn't purchase it again. I would buy something that was more of a name brand, so I could easily repair or replace parts.

I wish I had spent this money a lot sooner. I am more of a glue and clamp guy rarely using metal fastners but there are times and projects that make sense to be able to quickly join pieces where the brads won't show. This machine worked perfectly for me. No jams, easy to operate.

This is a great little brad nailer for the price. I've already used it on a number of projects and have not had a single jam up yet. I like the ability to direct the air ejection where you want it as well

The nailer / stapler work fine at 100 psi and has a wheel to adjust depth of hit. The only thing I don't like is the large size of the tip which makes it difficult to place nails into intricate trim work.
