Candle, Thread, and Flute

This book of poetry is absolutely amazing. The themes of darkness, nature, and motherhood really discuss the deep aspects of human nature and the psychology behind it. The poems discuss physical nature but also depicts elements of human nature that correspond well together. I read the work in a day because I was so intrigued by it. I recommend every individual read this book, especially English scholars. This book of poetry is absolutely amazing and Kathryn Hinds does an excellent job of bringing life lessons, humor and darkness all together.

I don't often sit down to read poetry, but after seeing a couple of samples I had to buy this book! Kathryn Hinds has a lovely style and the poems are wonderful and inspirational. I have really enjoyed the poems.

Kathryn's poems transport the reader to see through another's eyes, guide one through journeys and open vistas. I admit that I don't usually read poetry, but each time I experience one of Kathryn's I see, feel, hear or simply breathe an experience.
