You can absolutely use another serum in conjunction with Good Genes. We recommend Good Genes first, followed by your night serum.

I have two questions: 1) is this a serum or a cream to use day or night? 2) is it safe to use if you live in a hot sunny place like Florida?

Good Genes is a serum that can be used both day and night. If using during the day (especially in the sunshine state!) make sure you're finishing your routine with a strong SPF, as lactic acid can increase sun sensitivity.

Do you apply this with your hand or with a cotton pad?

Finger tips - you’ll waste a ton having it absorb into a cotton round.
