Simple Deluxe 20" Heavy Duty Patio Market Umbrella Base Stand with Steel Holder Water Filled for Outdoor, Lawn, Garden, Round

I did a lot of shopping around for umbrella stands. The solid ones are too expensive for the heavier ones that give you faith they won't blow over. These allow you to fill easily with water or sand or wet sand so that even with just water they are heavier than the more expensive solid stands. So in my mind, they are the best of all worlds. Cheaper and heavier and easier. Easy to fill, easy to clean, easy to move.

I needed a replacement patio stand. I had a composite stand that cracked down the middle. I passed on iron stands as reviews said they rusted after a few months. This stand is perfect. I just assembled the sleeve with enclosed allen wrench and use a hose to fill the stand. I removed the sleeve top for my 20 foot metal pole for my weather station. The pole is straight as an arrow. Very sturdy and nice looking. I would recommend this stand for the price and ease of assembly.

The product itself is as described, however I am missing the screws to be able to put it together and use it. Disappointed that now have to go to a hardware store to find screws that should have been included. Quality control is lacking.

It's good, it's sturdy, it holds a 9 foot patio umbrella in moderately windy Las Vegas with no problem.

If you live anywhere the temperature drops below freezing (32deg F) you can't fill this hollow umbrella stand with water or it will freeze and destroy the base. You have to use sand. That's OK since a cut-off 2 litre soda bottle will screw right into the filler hole for a funnel. Just use dry, fine sand. The amount of sand or water it can hold isn't listed anywhere in the instructions, so just know, you can put 70 or more pounds of sand in this thing. The heavier it is, the harder to move around. Once it's full of sand, it doesn't sit flat. The bottom of the base is a bit rounded. That means that in a wind, your umbrella can blow side to side. Not great, why isn't it flat?

This umbrella Base is really sturdy and well made. Perfect for my 9ft umbrella.

Works as intended. No issues with it. Have even had the umbrella not strapped shut during multiple windy storms and have had no problems. Several years of use in.

Arrived much later than the umbrella. When I finally was able to assemble the umbrella this stand didn't lay flat on the ground. I had to return it. Then discovered that I had to pay for the shipping over $60. Decided at the post office not to pay, not to send it back. My friend and I brought it for recycling. Not a fair deal!
