Lovely playmat!
Easy to assemble, it does have some odor at first however if you wipe it down it’ll go away immediately, it’s very thick and sturdy, perfect for my little one who just started crawling, I love the pattern so much, just what I was expecting.

Mom & Mini Approved
Purchased the 9 tile (6x6) Vanilla Latte version when priced at $131. My mom friends recommended House of Noa and the Toki mat, but reading the reviews and product descriptions I wasn’t convinced they were any better than this Lillefolk mat. I also ordered the Playplatoon mat which was advertised as slightly thicker (5/8”) than this Lillefolk mat (1/2”). Honestly, I couldn’t feel the difference between the two in terms of cushion. The Lillefolk is comfortable to kneel on as an adult so it’s probably comfortable for a baby to play on too. The big difference I did notice was the texture of the Lillefolk isn’t as slippery as the other one—hoping the gripiness of this mat helps my baby as she starts to crawl! I think I prefer this texture over something even slightly slippery as it’ll make it safer for my baby while she’s rolling and trying to crawl and eventually walk. Hopefully it will still wipe clean easily (haven’t had a spill on it yet to comment on that aspect). I also like that this mat doesn’t need end pieces (less connector pieces means less chances for awkward fits/gaps and/or possible future peeling/bending/disforming/etc). Speaking of connector pieces—I think my pieces all connected rather well without any eye sore gaps. One piece did arrive slightly damaged, but I’ll hide that piece the best I can as it is too much of a hassle trying to return all of them with a small baby. (The outer box it was delivered in was in questionable condition so maybe that’s how one tile got damaged. The tiles did arrive in a flimsy plastic bag inside of the box, but it didn’t provide any structural protection during shipment.) Immediately upon opening there was zero smell. I purchased the 6x6 size to fit my ComfyCubs wooden play pen 57”x57”. Tucked into a corner, the Lillefolk mat is about 1/2 tile wider and longer than the playpen which I prefer over it being too small. Aside from one tile arriving damaged and not being able to return to reorder bc there’s no way I can carry the box and my baby into a store, I’d recommend this play mat. I think this is one of those “you get what you pay for” items. For the quality and the aesthetically pleasing colors and pattern I’d say this was every bit worth the price. Hopefully it holds up over time!

Nice option of a play mat for toddler
Easy to wipe clean--one of the better mats overall. Seemed to be good quality but not super thick.

quality = the price
It’s with very nice quality, although the edge of each mat might be defective/curved/slightly damaged. However, doesn’t really affect how it works…
