The dril GBH 2-28 F is the the highest-powered hammerdrill from "2" series, with declared impact energy of 3,2J. It comes in a platic case with info papers and a soft cloth. Since there is no vibration control, the drill is pretty direct and very stiff on hands while working, so watch your hands (for vibration) if you don't use this kind of tool everyday. I used it mostly as a chiseling hammer and it works fantastic (removing ceramic tiles, removing old mortar, etc.) Also worked good as a hammer drill. For some old brick-walls teardown it was a bit too strong. The drilling and impact speed can be reduced by the ammount of a hand-switch press, but the impact energy cannot be reduced, so beware of hammering vibrations. There is a thing when you are chiseling - if the switch is constantly pressed all the way, it seems that the dril doesn't release the clucth when you move it out of obstacle (ceramics, walls,...) but it keeps hammering for a while (2-5 seconds) with no pressure present. This can cause painful hands after a whole day of working. I didn't notice this "unclutching phenomenon" in any other drill. I will try to find out if this is due to internal error, or something else. Good thing about the drill is the ventilation system that keeps the drill cooled - like every other BOSCH Proffesional drill. Anyway, I would recommend buying this drill, because I think it is very good value for the money (179,98 € + VAT & Shipping).
