YAKEDA Quick Release Tactical Outdoor Vest for Adult

I wanted to wait until is played a few games in this. Very impressed with the plate carrier.I've worn it all day during games with no discomfort. Plenty of MOLLE attachment points. I've added the foam plate inserts from Yakeda to give it rigidity. Of course I've removed some of the pouches and inserts that came with it for my own personal choices. The stitching, seems, and Velcro are very good construction.I live in the southern US so it can get very warm. There was no issue with overheating while wearing it for hours. Breathability is very good.For the money, I highly recommend this plate carrier. It sits in a nice price point with out feeling cheap.This is also a true coyote brown color. I don't think they list it as such, but you can see from all my other gear it matches very well.

Great stitching, strong material perfect for plates and it comes with extra storage add ons. Will be buy from them again.

Hey everyone, hopefully this review helps a little.I’m 6’ 0”, 130lbs (yes i’m skinny and lanky)Upon first getting my hands on the vest there were a couple of points i’d like to note:Pros: At first inspection, i was thoroughly surprised at the quality of construction for the pricepoint, the quick release shoulder buckles are thick and durable, the stitching is great, it holds both my 10x12 plates very easily and snug. It also comes with 9 standard sized rifle magazine pouches, and 4 pistol magazine pouches as well as additional storage behind the plate pouches for trauma pads or medical chest seals/equipment.Pros:DurableWell constructed for the pricePouches for daysVery easily adjustableAs with all things there were a few downsides to note as well so...Cons: Right out of the box i knew something was up. The first thing i noticed was that the shoulder straps, though adjustable, were cut incorrectly from the factory, and definitely not made for someone my size, i’ve rigged it to be as neat at possible, but i’ll still have to cut and re-sew the straps for a “perfect” fit. The waist assembly was far too large for me, and upon learning how to size it properly, i found there is no “neat” way to get the waist strappings to be held together. The “breathable” material used is quiet itchy but bearable, be wary of chafing after a few hours usage.Cons:Incorrectly measured straps (no sizing option is available, but still)May cause chafing after heavy usageNot really many negatives to say honestly, fairly surprised at the quality for the pricepoint and definitely will be recommending it to anyone looking for an affordable and ready-to-go plate carrier system.

Good quality feel. 3 in front, 3 on each side. Fits perfectly. The mag strap is a perfect fit as well. 4 full size double stack pistol mags in the front. Quick release is easy to use. It slides into itself. They are a heavy plastic but in my first few days of ownership they feel like they will hold up well. The shoulder latches seem good. I will never use those again though because how easy it is to just throw it over my head and latch the sides.

Vest has many different colors. This one was black camouflage. Vest is comfortable and adjustable. Has many pockets for pistol, subs, and m4/ak47. Vest disassembles to create other variations of vest depending on your load out. Price is steep. I like this vest but there may be cheaper alternatives.

Man I was not expecting this! What a pleasant surprise! Holds way more gear and clips, plates than I thought!!! I actually was so impressed I bought the dark CP camo one too! Definitely recommend!

The pros:The vest is good for the price. In the standard setup, you can carry 9 AR magazines and 4 pistol magazines. All the magazine pouches are removable. The rifle mag ouches on the front pull out from a velcro enclosure which gives you a handy map pocket (not waterproof so laminate your documents). The front magazine pouch on each cummerbund is attached via molle and appears to be of good construction. The 2 rear magazine pouches on the cummerbund are velcro insert inside the side plate pocket similar to the front magazine pouches. The front and rear plate pockets appear to fit your standard 10x12 plates so long as the have the diagonal top corners as most plates do. I attempted to insert a square rear plate and it would not fully insert due to the shape of the pocket (this is not abnormal for a plate carrier. nor do I blame the manufacturer for this it's just something to be noted). The buckles and hardware appeared to be of sufficient quality.The cons:This product is in no way, NIR compliant. If you wear this at night, you will look like a reflective traffic cone through night vision. I tested it out with night vision and it was extremely visible. I would not recommend this at all for night time operations. This vest works for training or daytime milsim but if you want to be effective at night, I would recommend spending a little extra money and buying a vest from UR tactical or another brand that offers NIR compliant materials.
