I have joint issues in my toes. Does this compress those areas as well?

Generally the compression socks are for swelling. My feet and legs swell which would include my toes when the swelling gets bad. If you get a firm fit I am sure they will help with swelling and keeping your feet warm but not alleviate the cause of the joint issues. Hope you find a solution but I admit I love these socks. I don't bother buying regular socks anymore. These keep your feet dry, warm and reduce swelling quite well, along with healthy regimens of course.

I have a torn plantar fascia. Do these compress the arch area too?

I have no medical background whatsoever. I had to google plantar fascia to understand the question. My use of copper fit compression sox is to alleviate neuropathic problems, edima, in my lower legs and feet. In that usage I have not had a problem flexing my ankles, feet or toes. The Sox have improved my ability to walk and maintain my balance. I don't know if this information will help you. I wish you well.

Why does it say "Copper Iron" in the product photo?

It has to do with the creation of a solution of free copper ions in liquid suspension to allow for the implementation of those ions on to a surface; such as nylon.

Are these comfortable in the heat?

Yes, they are very a breathable material that does not trap heat.

These aren't graduated compression socks. They're just tight socks. These don't go more than halfway above the calf. These socks are a big fat lie.
