Stopped puppy biting in days - wish we'd found this sooner. We got this for our Alaskan Malamute puppy, Ice, when the nipping got out of hand. Within a day or two the biting had basically stopped. The hissing sound immediately gets his attention and breaks the behaviour cycle. What surprised me is how quickly he learned what it meant. Now I only need to hold it up and he rethinks whatever he's doing - I rarely actually spray it anymore. It's become a visual cue rather than a corrective tool. It's genuinely effective and cheaper on Amazon than the pet shops near us. If you're struggling with puppy biting or unwanted behaviours, this is one of those small investments that pays off almost immediately. Highly recommend.

Has transformed on-the-lead behaviour
Works well as a distraction, means dog can be walked on the lead without screaming at / trying to attack innocent passing dogs. However, no help at all and is completely ignored if / when dog is off its lead and doing the same…

Pet corrector
We bought this for my 15 month dog as it was always jumping up biting (not hard) attacking us in the garden.Anyway the moment it was delivered he tried to bite me as he wanted to play so a sprayed this not directly at him it makes a loud hissing sound and he immediately stopped and now I just need to show him the can and he walks away believe me he is a different dog since a purchased this spray.

It works but depends on your dog…
Easy to use, good size to keep in your pocket, rather noisy and did stop my dog from jumping and nibbling for a while, but he got used to it and I think he eventually wanted me to ‘push the button’. Sooo short term, yes, but it depends on your dog I suppose.
