Excellent quality. The results were clear to read. Make sure to read directions, particularly regarding the finger-poker (I accidentally engaged one before I was ready, but thankfully each card comes with two). It's all very quick, safe, and easy to use. I highly recommend!

Worked as expected

Easy to use and found out blood type in less than 5 min

I think the description says this test can be done in 10 minutes. I guess, I am slow, or maybe they literally mean the time it takes to do the steps required and not the time it takes to figure it out in the first place. To be clear, it isn't difficult, but the first time through is definitely slow. Three takeaways from my experience (I had to use two test kits). 1) Step 2 is to use the tiny plastic squeeze bulb with water to wet the test circles. Should I use distilled water? I used tap water <shrug> 2) Work quickly once you prick your finger. My finger stopped bleeding before I had time to get blood on all the samples. (Hence, I had to use of another test kit and prick my finger again). 3) When putting blood on the EldonStick, don't try to put it in the little cup-like part. Put it on the bottom. If you look at the instructions, the drawing shows this, but I couldn't resist treating the thing like a little dipper--don't be like me. Put it on the flat part and then smear it around in the test circle. Finally, one last critique, is that I wasn't sure how to interpret the results. They give some pictures of agglutinated samples, but to my untrained eye, it still seemed kind of subtle.

I KNEW my blood type was not O bc of remembering looking in my baby book...35yrs ago!! Also, I never got blood typed on the spot bc I can’t donate due to weight restrictions (sad) but became curious some months ago when an article was released regarding specific blood types & specific susceptibilities not just Covid. (I had cancer, Crohn’s w resection etc so it now makes sense). Me aside, wanted my daughter who’s allergic to everything to have so insight. (It was also her idea!) Proceed.. easy test looks confusing but definitely read everything twice or it won’t be right. I even read the videos online getting yelled at by my kid saying SHE knows what to do....(says the 15 yr old my bad for being thorough) It must be done in the exact order, not rushed but paced. Mine was B+ no doubt & knew any would be + anyway being Rh factor is done during pregnancy therefore we were the same told +. Couldn’t give me a letter?!?) Then my daughter’s & I was shocked bc she was O+. More definitive looking than mine. Never thought for 1 second she was different than I was and looked at a chart of blood type combos based on mom & dad’s and he is O. (But she could be the mailman’s kid who knows!) The same goes for eye color w mine brown dad blue my daughter has blue (at this point it could’ve be a hospital mix up bc she’s has none of my traits!!) My son is 7 & didn’t want to deal w the crying so he’s B or O by simple process of elimination or definitely the mailman’s. I got the 2 pack for us both bc it IS a great deal & accurate. My closest friends also became intrigued so they got as well. Haven’t heard anything but haven’t heard of any divorce papers files either! If we messed up at least we had one & if chosen could’ve purchased again, or in larger quantity, but be meticulous. Do a test run (without using the blood and water) so you know exactly what to do. I didn’t do this for the fun of it. I want to help & having B+ gives that opportunity as it’s only 7-8% of people.

Did this kit with my father about 5 years ago and came out with a B positive blood type. Recently joined the military and had my blood professionally drawn to find my true blood type which also came out as B+. After getting over the small prick in the beginning it was very exciting to find my blood type for fun and have it be accurate to my true blood type.
