How exactly does it work? Will I need to buy another product to go along with this one?

You will need a neutralizing shampoo this relaxer does not come with it. I use elasta qp but u can buy it from a dollar store

No. Hair relaxers were required to take lie out of them a long time ago.

Is this gentle enough for bleached/damaged hair? Or will it burn the damaged hair off too easily?

The product is good. But if you have very damaged hair with so many dyes preferably it will restore your scalp first. With treatments that condition it

Does this work on African hair?

That is the only hair this is designed for. Any other grade a hair would be too thin for this product and it would break. Make sure if you get it you follow the directions because leaving it in too long can damage the hair or not leaving it in long enough will not get good results. Once you put this in washing their hair often is not a good idea because it will wash it out over time.

Amazing

The product is amazing. It doesn’t irritate your skin or anything. Personally, I have eczema and very sensitive skin, and this didn’t affect it. Also, it works to make your hair straight, but I don’t think it’s long-lasting, as my hair is unfortunately starting to become curly again.
