This company deserves high marks for making a very pleasant tooth gel with no fluoride. It seems to be the best on the market, so I am adding a star to my review.Since it's a gel instead of a toothpaste, you don't get that thick pasty effect. It does --not-- leave a coating on your teeth, which is why some people say their teeth don't feel clean. But that "fresh feeling" coating is actually unhealthy and prevents your teeth from constantly remineralizing. The product seems slightly watery or quick melting -- but I have used a gel (like Aim) before and knew what to expect. DO make sure that you quickly apply this to both sides of your mouth before you really begin brushing your teeth.I have used Silversol for more than a year now. Over time, I have decided that it actually is killing germs, despite the mild taste. I brush the entire inside of my mouth, not just my teeth. And it does kill that terrible morning Dragon Breath -- so I am sure now that it is working.Ingredients on the tube show: SilverSol Solution (deionized water and purified silver), xylitol, carbomer, TEA, natural coloring and peppermint oil. (No aloe vera, as someone else suggested)Positive-----------fluoride free (YAY!)no stevia, which I hateno parabensno sodium laurel sulfateno artificial colorsnon-abrasiveSilverSol solutioncontains xylitol (which doesn't harm teeth)mild glacial mint (peppermint oil) flavoringbpa-free tubeNegative------------carbomerTEA (triethanolamine)natural coloring (ie from an undefined source, but it is actually clear)relatively expensiveSize is 4 fl. oz. for around $10, and you have to use a little more than you'd expect, so the cost seems rather high. But there are so few fluoride free alternatives in the marketplace that I decided it was either this product, Activz silver dental gel (with the same ingredients and even higher price!), or homemade toothpaste (see my recipe below in the comments). If you don't wish to concoct your own high priced toothpaste using coconut oil and other ingredients, this appears to be the best choice for now!

Great for Chronic Periodontitis/Inflammation
I have mast cell activation affecting my mouth and chronic periodontitis. I have used this product for years as part of my regime to calm inflammation. After learning about fluoride and ditching my normal toothpaste I now only use this and am seeing further improvement. I will never be without it!

Oops…
I thought I ordered the actual toothpaste vs the gel, but it must’ve reverted to the gel selection when added from my list rather than directly from the product page. That is totally my fault, I should’ve verified before I completed the order. That said, the product is great and I am ordering the toothpaste version now. While I can absolutely feel the benefits to my gums immediately after using it, I just can’t tolerate the “gell-y” feel and taste of it. It’s not bad, actually somewhat tasteless I think; I just have an aversion to the texture I guess which makes me “think” I can taste it? Maybe LOL?The packaging was also pristine, which I find very important for health and personal care items.

Give it a try
Decided to try product as I suffer from gum disease. Ratings were good. Have only been using product for a few weeks and have noticed a slight change to my gums for the better and not so sore

This is the worst toothpaste I have ever used, very good to use as anti-viral cream
I really should read more of the negative reviews before I buy a product ... I bought this because of the 4 star rating. This is the worst toothpaste I have ever used. No foaming action at all .... My teeth feel as though they have been slimed.Supposed to be peppermint flavored ... no peppermint taste at all. Left a terrible taste in my mouth.I paid so much for it, I hate to throw it out, but it is unusableDec 14, 2017 UPDATE:I still think this is terrible toothpaste; however I have found a really good use for it. It was too expensive to just throw away. I have a wart above my left eye. It is too close to my eye to use wart medicine on. I read that colloidal silver cures warts. Liquid silver was too hard to use in this area. I started putting some of this silver toothpaste on the wart each night. About three weeks later the wart is almost gone and it does not itch anymore. Awesome ..... I have also used it on a couple of scratches I got from my cat ......Bottom line: terrible toothpaste, good for healing warts and scratches
