Bought for our 3-year-old to use in the car on the long trip to the beach. She loved it, but our 8-year-old also enjoyed making pictures on it too! So glad I found this!

Not like other versions
This is a good large size which can be good for older kids. Another version I saw, for a kid I babysat, had it where the patterns go in a storage slot in the back and you can see the pattern through the plastic to make the design. The patterns on this one are not the same size as the toy, do not go in any slot, and they will have to hold it while holding the toy. Kids will have to pay attention how many circles apart things are and their picture may not turn out like the pattern. The clear plastic screen scratched from the magnet pen only from two uses. Overall, this is great for free lance designs in the car and mess free which is always a bonus!

I totally recommend this toy.
All my kiddos love to play with this one, ranging from 1-9 years old. Perfect quiet play for restaurants and traveling.

Magnets are difficulty to pick up for little kids. Not the best for little ones with low frustration tolerance
