I needed better security lighting for my front porch. I had tried other dusk to dawn bulbs, but they did not work in the recessed fixtures. I have three fixtures that are 7 feet apart and all bulbs operate properly. Even though they are recessed, the illumination level is amazing!

We are beyond happy with these lights. Didn’t want to go to the expense of adding sensor outdoor light so decided to try these lights. Have them on the front porch and at the back door. Now I never have to remember to turn the outside lights on when we go to bed!!

The lamp post in our front yard was on day and night and I was not able to locate a switch except the one in the breaker box. Had just moved into our new home and I don't live with a "handyman" so it was up to me to fix it. Was told I had to get a solar eye and wire it up to the post. So, I found these Dusk to Dawn Bulbs. When they came it was a rainy cloudy day and it was around 5 PM in the evening. I put it in anyway. At dusk..it lite up. I was so happy. So I am VERY pleased with my purchase.

I Put the bulbs in my outdoor pole lamps and they work great as described. No more timers to turn lights on and off which had to be changed according to seasons when it gets dark earlier.. They turn on when is gets darker and shut off at dawn. They are also very bright. Much brighter than the 40W regular bulbs that were in there before. Very pleased with the purchase.

Before I discovered these I went on vacation and left the outdoor lights on for 4 days. I hated that fact so much. But even when I was home, I hated having to remember to turn on the outdoor lights or if I forgot to turn them off in the morning they would be on all day.These bulbs screw in like regular bulbs. No special skills or equipment needed. 5 minutes of your time to give you the luxury of being worry free and a lower electric bill.

I put one light bulb in the outside fixture by the front door and one in a floor lamp with a clear glass shade. They work perfect, turning off at dawn and on at dusk. I tried putting one of the bulbs in a table lamp with a white shade, but it came on, despite being near a window with sunshine pouring in. Great for daily use so your house isn’t dark when you come home from work or when you’re out of town. Good price, too.

I absolutely love this light bulb. My landlord is my neighbor and he is quite ridiculous. I had left my porch light on for 2days in a row all day and night. He texted me complaining about it. This is great since I don't have to worry about turning it off and on. Doesn't require an internet connection so no worried about when he internet has problems. It is very bright and keeps my porch lit up wonderfully!

Installed it and I see that it turns on and off just as expected. Cannot share anything about the durability. This is now at each side of 2 car garage door and I do face east for sunrise. Bulb turn on and off as expected. I am avoiding replacement or the entire light fixture by installing this bulb.
