Nice chef’s knife holder, the magnets hold the knife securely. Better than expected for the relatively cheap price.

I make custom knives and when I make Chef's knives, I usually include my custom made wood saya (sheath). I made this knife for my wife, but she wanted to have this on the kitchen counter-top along with my other Chef's knives in a block I made and NOT in a saya in a drawer. I happened to see this saya on Amazon and the added bonus of the onboard tab that converts the saya into a functional kitchen counter stand was PERFECT. It fits her 7 inch Gyuto like it was custom made for it and has a perfect fit-and-finish. The hidden magnet holds the blade firmly. One word of caution is to place a finger on the saya's fold-out tab while removing the knife from the saya, or when you pick up the knife from the counter - you'll pick up the saya too. As long as you remember that, it will serve you well.

Simple, Practical, and Does the Job After getting my first quality chef’s knife, I wanted to make sure I stored it properly when it wasn’t being used. This knife holder is simple, uncomplicated, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. When the knife isn’t in use, it simply sits securely in the slot. The holder is small, takes up very little counter space, and provides a convenient place to keep the knife when I’m not cooking. There’s nothing complicated about it, and that’s exactly what I like. It’s a simple, practical product that does its job well without taking up unnecessary space. I’m very happy with it.

I really love the look of this product. They’re quite beautiful and my knives look amazing in them. The knives also seat well. The only downside is I thought the wood would be a bit heavier. It’s extremely lightweight so when you pick up your knife, the cover comes with it- which, if you are storing them in a drawer is probably ideal. Since I like to display them on the countertop because they look so nice, you definitely need two hands to grab your knife. They are very sturdy when on display and they are well-made.

Soooo... I needed to spend money and justified it by saying it's a necessity. And I bought the kindking knife sheath and stand. 15 dollars. And I love it. I will be getting one for each knife and will be buying a knife set from them now that I've seen the quality of their sheaths. 10/10 highly recommend. I can't wait for my next purchase For validation of review. I'm a chef at a massive senior living facility

Looks great and doubles as an ede guard. I reccomended these to a knife shop owner to carry, thats how great these are

Knife guard seems decent enough but it definitely doesn't come close to holding a 5" blade

The holder is very nicely made from real wood. Magnets are strong and you need to angle to knife to remove without lifting the holder. I needed this for my 12-inch bread knife. Since it didn’t fully fit due to the shape of the blade, I carved down the wood at the open end and now fits fine.

I love this product, I purchased the 8” it fits my knife perfectly. I wanted to be able to leave the knife on my counter and I was nervous about whether the magnetic hold would be strong enough and it is pretty at sturdy, definitely a good buy.

The knife doesn't fit the way i thought it would. I know that's my problem but I deducted a star anyway. It does work just fine to show off a knife that's quite nice to look at

Magnet works well, keeps the knife protected. Fit with my carving knife and is a pretty solid look. Will let me transport it to the in-laws for turkey carving.
