There are some reviews on here that are totally unfounded, because the buyers did not do their research on the product and tried to use this with their front loader NES. This will only work with a top loader and it works great with all my famicom games. This is a well built piece of hardware at a great price! Worked with my 60 pin game without any issue. Build quality feels good. I like it so far.

Great product for the price. Did exactly as advertised. This WILL ONLY WORK with a top loader NES (NES 101). Most poor reviews of this product are from people who didn’t do their homework and tried it in a front loader, which has a region lockout chip, preventing famicom games from working. Also worth noting the famicom cartridge needs to be facing away from you on the adapter in order to work.

Another reviewer said this only works with top-loaders. Don't know if that's true, but it definitely doesn't work on front loading NES. I have lock-out chip disabled, confirmed no problems with my famicom cartridges and my NES system. Still doesn't work. Garbage.

Works ok, only issue is when trying to go from the Famicom Disk system to a clone console some of the audio doesn't work. This is due to the audio chip on the FDS not being sent the extra channels over the adapter

This doesn't work with the Retro-Bit Super RetroTRIO. The cartridge is too wide to fit.

Great adapter! It allows me to play all of my Famicom cartridges on my Super Retro Trio Plus clone console. Just make sure to clean the pins on your Famicom games before using, because it can be a bit sensitive to dirty cartridge pins.

This works perfectly in the 3 different top loader i own. In the Retro Bit Trio, it plugs in backward to the 72 pin connector, so that may be where some of the confusion is coming from with that. But, this will NOT work in the old NES side loader due to the fact that it will get stuck in the loading mechanism. I cannot recommend this enough as a cheap, functional Famicom solution for retro gamer in the western world. 5/5

Does not work with Cyber Gadget's Retro Freak console. I'm disappointed as this was one that was suggested to me and looked reliable. It doesn't even reach the connectors in the console.

It did not work and stuck on my machine, I could not take it out.
