I've been looking for some earbuds for when I exercise, and these are excellent (I've gone through many crappy ones). I sweat a lot, and the extra moisture hasn't caused any issues but what I like most is how I can fit them over my ear for a more snug fit. The earbuds look classy, sound is great and the cord does not get all tangled up. And today I used them on an airplane flight, and they were amazing and I now see no reason to replace my really expensive broken noise canceling headphones.I am very pleased with my purchase, and did I mention that the package arrived a day earlier then promised – BONUS! Not only a great product, but a great seller!

Amazing sound quality and incredible price! I love wearing them to the gym and even while riding my bike. Due to the ear pieces, they never fall out! I bought them just to take calls on and was surprised to find that the microphone was good quality too. I appreciate the very durable design because I don't treat my electronics very well. Pictured below is what my headphones look like after a few weeks of use (they look just like new!)I will admit the cables do have a strange rubbery feel that I was not used to with other cables. If that's a deal breaker for you then maybe these headphones aren't for you.

It comes as no surprise that 'you get what you pay for' is a common thing we have to shrug off when shopping for cheap products. But come on, when faced with a smudged fingerprint on the inside plastic tray and a tangle of cables in disarray along with some suspiciously worn looking earbuds? Cheap or no, at least mention that I'm just puchasing a pre-used product.

Great quality sounding earbuds on a budget. They fit comfortable in my ears, which is something that I have had issues with in the past. Also, these earbuds do NOT fall out when working out, running, or riding a bike. I sweat a lot and these still sound the same and produce a good quality. The music is clear, loud, and crisp. I have had issues with receiving phone calls because there is no mic. When running or working out not really a big deal but when riding my bike it is somewhat of a pain.

update:I now have a good product in my hands. Customer service excellent as they replaced the product with all the ear buds included. Everything is okay now and I'm using these earphones. The "curve" that sits on the ear takes a little getting used to.****Cheap product, except for the "red" part. Missing some earbuds... only 1 "pair", others are all single sizes (so I have to wear one size in one ear and another in the other ear). Volume control not so efficient. What I dislike the most is the lead wire... it is a cheap rubber product it seems. My package was sitting in the mailbox for 2 days after delivery - the heat in Arizona seems to have made the wire "sticky". Wont be buying this product ever!

My son ordered these, and they served him fairly well. The sound quality is surprising (though the bass is a bit overwhelming) for headphones of this price, and the wires are quite durable. His past pair failed because the wires eventually got frayed; however these continued to function for at least two months. While that isn't a lot, for this price range it definitely isn't bad at all. As a semi-active person, he has no complaints about their durability in sweaty and dynamic conditions. So these are very versatile.Unfortunately his first pair of these broke around 2.5 months after purchasing (this is the reason I give only 4 stars) because something in the actual earbud came loose (if you shook it you could hear something bouncing around). Usually cheap earbuds like this break due to the wires weakening, but that was not the case. He roughly handles his earbuds (i.e. gets them tangled in his pockets frequently) so this shows they can put up with some abuse. He bought a second pair and so far they are working well.

I go through many pairs of headphones a year and in my search for the best all purpose ear buds, I think I've found my next go to pair.The Darkiron S1 is a unique set. Their wrap around ear function isn't the normal solid hard plastic ear wrap around normally found on most athletic earbuds. The wrap around is actually the earbud cord wrapped in a flexible, mold-able rubber like sleeve that molds the wrap to the ear. So unlike most athletic earbuds, these stay securely on the ear no matter how hard your work out or how much you sweat.Speaking of sweat, these earbuds were brought to my attention due to their description of "Sweat proof". Most athletic earbuds will short out if they get to sweaty or if you spill water on them. These are unique because the cord, from input to earbud, is covered in a wax like plastic that provides are pretty substantial barrier to the sweatiest of conditions. I've ruined about 5 pairs of athletic earbuds due to sweat, so I am looking forward to seeing how these hold up. From first glance, they look pretty tough.As far as sound quality - the earbuds are tuned for rock/hip hop music. I mostly listen to podcasts and I noticed that when it comes to spoken word media, the sound quality is a little bassey.Free Stuff: The Darkiron S1 comes with 4 sets of tips, all various sizes to get the perfect fit inside your ear. This was a surprise! I love the deep/longer tips. They fit well, add to the security of the earbud on my ear and deliver good sound without being too loud.Final Judgement: Even if you are a hard-core audio book/podcast listener, the audio quality negatives are made up for by the sturdiness and security of the earbud itself and the sweat proof coating on the cord.

This is a high quality and well design headphones. When I use the headphones that came with my Samsung Galaxy phone, I can here echo and feel the up-and-down variation in volume and clarity. The Darkiron Headphones solves all the issues for me with quality and consistent sound reproduction. I like that the ear buds has flexible wire that bend/contour to the exact shape of your ear.
