Amazing
I tried this book earlier this year. After two weeks all my problems disappeared. I had a head start because I’d been on Keto for 12 months. But I was always hungry, as I didn’t know what to eat. Now I’m reading the book in detail. I’ve bought about all the supplements to make the medical smoothies (around thirty). And eating organic food. Not much change this time, even after four weeks. Probably because during the summer I ate all the wrong things: Cakes, Biscuits, Chocolate and ice cream etc. So it will take longer to heal my gut. I strongly recommend this book because I know how it changed me. It was great living without anxiety for the first time in my life. You can even have a video talk with the author, $750.

Life changing
Words can’t describe how life changing this book has been. I’d been struggling for over a year with stomach pain and cramps etc. and the doctor’s blood tests etc. all suggested there was ‘nothing wrong’. There definitely was! To cut a long story short, I got this book hoping to fix my problems. It was incredibly easy to understand and implement. My pains are gone and I lost 25kg in less than 3 months as an accidental bi-product! I now have a ‘normal’ BMI score as a result. I’d recommend this book (and have been) to just about anyone who is having digestive/gut/bowel issues.

NOT for vegan/vegetarians
I believe in the overall message in this book. You are what you eat. Change your diet, change your health. I had given up wheat/dairy/sugar a few years ago but slipped into bad habits again recently with a job change/busy lifestyle. My health had improved enormously whilst I had cut these things out but I still had some symptoms like bloating and fatigue. So knowing, I had to once again make changes, I thought this book might provide some ideas on what to eat if I were to cut out things like brown rice/lentils/beans; staples of my diet when I was eating healthy. I was very disappointed that the book very much encourages meat. Having not eaten meat for many years, this is a big no for me. The author does suggest to carry on eating lentils/beans etc which doesn’t provide a solution for any non meat eaters who want to do the 8 week elimination diet. So disappointing and a waste of money for me but a good book for anyone who does eat meat and wants to make healthy changes.

Probably a game changer for anyone with chronic inflammation
I was taking 600mg/day of ibuprofen and still in a lot of pain. 2 weeks of following this very militantly I dropped all ibuprofen and pain was significantly reduced. It’s borderline medical negligence that NHS rheumatologists do not consider diet to be a major clause of inflammation. Wish I had discovered this book years ago.

Hands : Fingers and thumbs joints
I have just started reading and would be able to write about the contents later once I have read the book . It’s the inflammation of my hands joints Which are very painful and because of inflammation there is very restricted mobility with pain.

It works!!
Dr. Will Cole knows his stuff!! The inflammation test was great. I scored high so I did the 8 items for 8 weeks. I noticed a big change in how I felt. It felt "clean" everytime I ate. During the 8 weeks I slowly lost some weight which I believe represented the inflammation being dealt with. If you need to deal with inflammation in your body I highly recommend this book.

Me ha salvado la vida, gracias dr. Cole.
He vuelto a nacer.

An incredible resource
This is one of the most mindfully written personal health books I've ever read. It's an invaluable resource that i refer back to all the time, and one i recommend to friends over and over - especially the ones who say they've tried EVERYTHING to resolve [insert medical condition] but nothing has worked. I've seen it help people resolve or drastically improve literally over a dozen (seemingly unrelated) health issues, including extreme fatigue, brain fog, IBS, eczema, depression, anxiety, allergies, arthritis, migraines, Hashimoto, celiac....the list goes on. The author did an incredible job of making complex medical concepts & diagnoses super simple to understand. Because in a way, it really is so simple. Not to spoil the ending, but it all comes down to one thing: food is medicine. Personally, I read the book and did the 8-week plan bc a group of friends were doing it and asked me to join. I reluctantly said yes, and resisted the hell out of it at first. I even started 2 weeks after them. I didn't have any major medical mysteries to resolve, or so i thought. But...I had been suffering from intense allergies & sinus issues for years, and right before we started the book, an ENT doctor diagnosed me with nasal polyps. His top recommendation: Surgery. Not only was the surgery expensive, but it wasn't guaranteed to be a permanent solution, and, more alarmingly, it was in that space back behind my eyes next to my brain, y'all... that's a big freaking deal! At NO POINT did he, or any of his medical team, ever talk to me about diet, inflammation, causes, or alternative options, except to give myself some sort of injection...for the rest of my life. Seriously, those are all my options?! Within 2 weeks of starting this book: Problem solved. Totally clear. I could breathe normally again. Even the sound of my voice changed bc my nose wasn't stuffed up anymore. I couldn't believe how quickly it happened, or how amazing i felt. I didn't need the doctor to tell me the polyps were gone - there was no doubt in my mind - but i scheduled another appointment anyway, just to tell him I was feeling 100% better, and respectfully, express my deep concern and disappointment that when I'd asked him if there were any dietary or lifestyle changes i could try to improve my condition, he'd said no. I handed him a copy of the Inflammation Spectrum and said, "I suggest you read this book and recommend it to every patient who walks through your door. I'm sure you'll still have plenty of surgeries to perform, but why not make it the patient's last resort instead of the first?" Do yourself a favor: read the whole book. Do the full 8-week plan. Get a supportive group of friends together, and even if you go into it kicking and screaming, swearing you have "no reason to do this" just like me, do it anyway. Do it together because the support of people who are in it with you is absolutely essential. I promise you won't regret it.
